Volume vs pressure controlled ventilation

VCV delivers mechanical breath at constant flow rate and tidal volume, and airway pressure changes with compliance. Less comfortable.
PVC delivers a constant pressure, and the breath size/volume changes with chest wall compliance, airway resistance, lung compliance.
