The lack of an effective governor of the central bank for a very long time has led to hooliganism in the financial sector. This is incredible economic mismanagement that leads to depressing stories like this one.
Thanks for your services Solomon kaweesa

Selling the mortgage property doesn’t require the period to pass first, please note! Clients pay on installments. Failure to pay the installments consecutively calls for the sale of the property

Most of them don’t have businesses that’s why they talk like that
The problem u don't understand Luganda 😢

This man is lying about the theft of 93M. The wife has also been coached to tell similar lies and put across some wild allegations. While it is true the bank wants to take his property, they are only following the law. The man clearly violated loan repayment terms when he defaulted, not paying for over 3 months. The law is very clear: if you default on paying a loan for 3 consecutive months, the lender can sell your property to recover their money. It doesn’t matter whether the loan repayment has ended or not. This is a loophole in our legal system, but that's how things are at the moment. This is the loophole Ham was fighting to be removed in the DTB case, but Ugandans never supported him.

Listen to the story and understand word per word
There is a clear approach taken by the bank regarding loan servicing matters. In case of default, the customer is engaged throughout the process to give them an opportunity to clear their arrears.
Hmmm. You talk of centenary Bank when financial institutions are extorting clients. Centenary Bank is quite fair.

Eyo bank nfu nyo nze nange nalinayo account nabilabilawo nenzirukayo.
Too bad the centenary bank loan officers behave like hooligans let Ugandans be cautious about such banks that operate like cartels .

But that shop is not worthy 40m
It's not worthy 40M but Centenary cannot give you that loan with the security of the shop alone it means he had other assets .
@@kadondiinnocent4320 ofcourse but can that shop create 93m which he claimed to be stolen

Otherwise Legally your property will be sold...! When your given time is finished.. To centenary bank.. you are also doing a wrong thing to start selling your clients' properties before the agreed time elapses...

Why would you borrow 30m when you have a such shop?

This story is surely confusing...
1. How can bank sell one's property before the agreed period??
2. How can the bank attack clients in such a way??
3. Were there no neighbors or anyone to save the woman in the shop??
4. Why the bank to attack client without court or search order ??
