- 64-bit CPUs and Operating Systems are required.
- Windows XP is no longer supported. Windows Vista is no longer officially supported.
- Direct3D10/OpenGL3 Required. This means AMD Radeon 4xxx, NVIDIA GeForce 8xxx, or Intel HD 2xxx minimum!

Newer Core i5 and i7 processors such as the i5-4670K and i5-3570K are extremely fast and very affordable.
AMD CPUs are poor choices for Dolphin.

No NVIDIA GPU before the Geforce 4xx series can be recommended.
Geforce GTX 460 will handle almost any game you throw at it in HD resolutions.
Older NVIDIA GPUs will still be able to run the games fine.
AMD’s graphics cards actually fair very well at Dolphin.
The AMD HD5770 and should run most games at HD Resolutions.
Intel HD3000 and HD4000 can run Dolphin at reasonable speeds.

So when I started my game F-Zero GX it won't let me past the start screen, I tried pressing buttons and it flickers and it also says that my save is corrupted. What do I do when this happens?
Help! I download NSMBWII to it, did everything ((choose a directory, put the game inside the folder where it needs to find it)) i clicked play, it was black screen then it closed with the "Dolphin has stopped working" pop up. Do i have to redownload Dolphin? what do i do to fix it?
Just went back through the system requirements portion of the video. Everything on my laptop was good, except when I got to the DirectX diagnostic. I have a display tab, but no render tab. Does that mean, I don't have a graphics card?

First off, I just want to say great job! This video was very well done! However, I do have a few questions. Firstly, my computer says I'm using Intel(R) HD Graphics Family, unlike giving me a specific number like yours. I've tried to search up what it means but haven't been able to get a specific result. I have a Windows 10 Laptop. Is there any way to figure out what HD Graphics Family means, and if it's strong enough for emulation? Because so far, I've been experiencing problems. For example, I tried emulation on Super Smash Bros. Melee. In some places where not much is happening, such as the main menu, it's 60 fps. But it other cases, like the opening cutscene or an actual battle, the fps ranges from 30 to 45-ish. I've tried your settings and checked multiple other videos and tried the settings of others, and nothing fixes the issue. Do you know what the problem is? I'd really appreciate an explanation.

So the game I'm attempting to play is flickering constantly visually. So I went to see the requirements/recommendations on the hardware end. I have a NVIDIA GeForce GTX 645 graphics card and i7 Processor. My DirectX Diagnostic Tool only shows one Display tab, and no Render tab.
So does this mean my computer isn't powerful enough to run Dolphin?

For some reason when I download roms, from the exact website you use, I get an error saying when I double click saying file is corrupted. When I do the double click in dolphin, it doesnt show up. But when I like file, open then the folder i have the games, they are there and I can open and play them, but it doesnt show up on the dolphin. Which is weird cause on an old computer i didnt have this issue with dolphin
I have a question. My game (Animal Crossing) will not load. What I mean by this is that every step in this tutorial has gone perfectly for me except "play". hi Microwave, nice video! i just have one problem. im playing mgs twin snakes for game cube and all the buttons are working except the start and the back buttons.
its not a control problem and the odd thing is that the start button works ONLY when skipping cinematics! do u think is a rom problem?

don't download the normal 5.0 version it contains bugs. instead download the developer version of 5.0. it has no buggs and runs at full speed.

Okay, so I have this file that I need to place into a folder somewhere, the only thing is that I was watching an older youtube video and that folder doesn't exist, but the function is still there. The file is used to convert the controls of a PS3 controller to a gamecube controller, do you know where this file goes? I can't seem to find it anywhere. Thanks for the great video btw! Hey, i've got a question for the emulator. Every time, when i try to start a wii game an error comes which says "SetupWiiMem: cant create the setting.txt" after that the emulator crashes and im only able to close it with the task manager. :/ Maybe someone know what to do?

I first started dolphin like 1 week ago, i downloaded: Mario galaxy 2, Animal crossing, Mario sunshine and MKW, but i got a new and better pc, so i got my games, i put them to a flashdrive, then in the new pc i got dolphin and put the games to a new folder, and everything was fine! But the banners for Mario galaxy 2 and MKW (the only wii games i had on there) turned into X's, ik it doesn't matter that much, it doesnt affect gameplay, but im very nit picky about my stuff, so is there any fix? Re download the games??
