i love these videos because im learning stuff about laneplay that i dont always think about and i also have moments where i wish i could share some of my 2 handed knowledge
My center just laid down WTBA Paris for a youth tournament that we had. I would be curious if you could bowl on that. It’s long and light volume. Your single lane transition format would really offer a challenge for 700 in my eyes.
Dude, you make this look too easy. I’ve been bowling since February of this year and I can’t get it together like you have. Nice work man! Keep grinding Mikey!!
Honestly, thanks so much for this video! I've been working with a coach lately and all the things he mentioned he wants me to do 2-handed you do pretty well, so I was able to learn a good amount just from watching. Good games too, looks like it'll work nicely on house and anything where you have the room to really hook the lane.
Could you make a tips and tricks video on how to really get the fundamentals of footwork and body positioning down as a two hander? I currently have trouble keeping revs and throwing my ball faster so it would be amazing to try some new options to fix my technique
Enjoy your videos. As a retired tour player I wonder out loud if you should rework your spare game and strategy. You put so much physical effort into throwing a ball that's not going to read anyway, combine that with a hydroplaning voodoo roll and it just doesn't make a ton of sense. But that's one person's opinion. All the best out there it's certainly a very very hard life out there.
could you do one on red square i bowled a ybt on that 2 years ago and shot 99 i avarge 215 btw lmao so was very hard for me would be intrested to see a video on it!
🙂 They say pros hate to shoot house shots because it's harder for them. { }.......You had no problem 😆in fact your one handed maybe cost you 800......Well Done 🤠👍
have you experimented with how you put your fingers in the ball now that you have no thumb or do you lay them at the same angle as if you had a thumb in the ball?
For the life me I can’t convince my feet and body to bowl two handed, so I’ve started experimenting with no thumb. I get more revs/better carry obviously I don’t think, for me, I could get any better results with a two handed style. Any thoughts?
Great job. Welcome to the 2 handed carry and pin action. You actually have better chances picking up those spares with 2 handed. All your spare misses was one handed. Fully commit and drill up a plastic ball for your spares. Stop abusing your thumb go 2handsnothumb for 2024
“That’s gotta hook a lot, I missed it” as he sends a messenger on the ten😂
Mikey being baffled by the two handed carry is hilarious.

that slow messenger is for the second to last shot 🔥 great job man. as a two hander i take notes of your form it looks rlly good
the only thing i learned from this was too hook at your spares!!!!! all jokes aside this is a great video!

And another mikey upload... ayeeeee!! Let's go
Just another banger of a video.

Love the videos man!! How about a 700 video with plastic!!! Just like in the 70s and 80s!!
"heres a little bit of that transition." as he wraps his entire hand around the ball>

I’d love to watch you bowl a league 😅 you should join a league and do lives!
So in theory if lanes got super fluffed you would use this in a tournament? That’d be so sick

Hot take…. Mikey switches to 2 handed and wins a major!
Freefall is so sexy! 😍 unfortunately my centre switched to strings...
Simo = forward; Belmo = upright. You have that entire range. Whatever is most comfortable and accurate. ^5!

curious what layouts have you found that work the best for you 2 handed? do you prefer shorter or longer pins to PAP?
Right now most of my stuff is 65X5X35
One of your best 3 game sets missing 3 easy spares =).
Great bowling! Have your mechanics changed at all in terms of footwork? Do you focus on knee bend at all?
Actually I’ve noticed that my footwork has gotten better since I’ve started bowling 2 handed. I’m much more aware of where my feet are underneath me

My league I got a minimum of 8 other guys burning up the right side of my lane
have you experimented with how you put your fingers in the ball now that you have no thumb or do you lay them at the same angle as if you had a thumb in the ball?
Is it easier or harder to bowl with two hands for you Mikey? Is it more effortless?
It’s easier on my body for sure but my shot making skills aren’t where I would like it to be yet
Curious what your 2H PAP is and how different is than your 1 handed! :)
1 handed is 5”➡️ 1”⬆️
2 handed is 5”➡️ 1/2”⬆️
@@straightoffthehook8849 Thanks for the quick reply! :)

Hey, can i know whats 2LS layout you put on all those bowling balls?
I use dual angle and they are 65x5x35
@@straightoffthehook8849 Thanks for the reply, your form is really good!
I’m curious Mikey why you gear up your spares speed so much? Don’t you feel you’re just as accurate at normal speed.
It’s a mentality thing. If I’m more aggressive towards knocking down my spares I tend to make more of them compared to being more “timid”
Hey Mikey, what is your ball speed/rpm 2 handed, i'm also 2 handed and we throw it pretty similar, just curious
I’m around 17.5 mph and 568 rpm

holy SHIT that's a lot of oil
