I admire your efforts methodical and logical, you know what you are doing, appreciate the editing and your fresh approach, very watchable. Entertaining as well, love it when you drop in random stuff. Originating in the west of Scotland myself I know where you are coming from. Thank you !
It's addictive. Working on lambrettas in the shed. Electronic micrometer. Silent block puller. Flywheel holder. Clutch compressor and basic tools is all youl ever need.
Back in the 80's me and me mates destroyed many a perfectly good Lambretta simply by "Maintaining" it. Molegrips, lump hammer, stripped threads were the order of the day. We used to "Improve" the deign with jigsaw's and grinders, too. Tens of thousands f pounds worth of carnage looking back and loved every second of it!
Thanks for the reply. Just trying to get the job done with what I have. Not sure what you watched, it may be later on I discovered the KS shaft measured 65mm. I think that to fit a proper washer I need to source a 67mm shaft [ Sticky's ]. Don't know why. If you were ever a novice you might comprehend the trials and tribulations, Biblical. Hence my ignorance of a load spreading circlip. Had to google it. Then all became clear. Halleluyah.
