Yi Sang's ego power down is actually quite useful for this fight not to mention his blade salsu mixed with gregor manager heathcleaf rabbit and sinclair salsu does the job pretty well. I literally spammed Yi Sang Crow's eye every turn lol
That much is true. Yi Sang’s EGO saved my butt so much due to the haste + enemy attack power down. Made getting off other EGOs like Gregor and Heathcliff’s EGOs that much easier, too.
i literally have on idea how i beat this boss. got a bugged clear, where i lost and then got the cutscene for beating kromer, along with the end of the chapter.
This fight was the hardest fight in this game by far, I, I spent a lot of time grinding my characters to at least lol 25 for this fight. For people who are still stuck on this fight, my advice is to not use your ego moves for damage, but for winning the big clashes (Example, "Now you Die!" In the first phase, that big AOE in the 2nd phase).
Very impressive, i can't imagine having this much willpower to try and try and try to beat this fight, i've beaten it before they fixed her passive so the fight was really free
her passive with heal 10% max hp if bleed or burn is applied, is something indeed, i was lucky cuz my build was focused around general blunt damage tremor and something else, so i didnt have to suffer as much
Me too, my entire team were almost level 30, and my sinners didn't applied either of those status effect, and even had two of them with power lowering egos
i was struggling a lot with this boss fight too. i understood that lowering attack is one hell of a thing in this game so i build a not very optimal team but one that allowed me to spam meursalt e.g.o. almost every single turn and boy it help. clash that were simply not winnable before were now a pretty solid possibility and that was very importany because this boss gains buffs every time it does anything, so you not only prevent her from damaging you by winning clash but also stop her from ramping buff like there was no tomorrow (the fact that bleed is avery common thing to applay didn't help neither sinse it just kept her buffing). honestly i felt kinda frustrated at the beginning but being a duneon boss i didn't really had to pay anything in order to try again so it's more of a stamina test then anything.
My biggest tip is too bring base meursault for this fight and spam his base ego it helps a ton. 4 Turn 40% attack down debuff, Attack down Reduce kromer 10 Evade power to 3 and lower All her Attack power to easily Win clash every turn. then Gain 2 Protection next turn on top of that make your meursault tank and just do it again when its about to wear off.
So.... Long story short. I brought all the Liu Section guys with R Corp Ishmael and Zwei Sinclair to 3-22 for my first blind attempt. You can guess how that went.
Man, I must’ve had a weird combo Team Comp. LCCB Rodion, Mariachi Sinclair, G. Corp Outis, and Lou Section 6 Meursault and Gregor. With burn being a thing, I don’t really know how I won that fight with little to no issue on my first attempt. It’s probably Meursault. His E.G.O is just busted.
Such careful thought were put in this fight while I just bang my head against the wall like four times pressing win rate with base heathcliff and mersault, lccb ishmael, tingtang hong lu and g corp roach dude around lv 17-23 kek
Even at last you Win the Battle, I can see many mistake. I Don't Discuss that you bring Bleed Team to Kromer. 1st. You actually should Just Follow Attack Same Part untill it Break using those Unit Who Not Being Targeted. I mean I don't know why you keep attacked her Defend part, maybe you want focus on body part. 2nd. Most of the Time You can adjust who doing the clash. For Same Part, The last unit attack will do the Clash, As long the last one is Dominant, others is just free attacked. 3rd. Why you attack Kromer Wings which actually did nothing to you. You should just Focus Break one Part by not spread you attack.
That's good general advice, but I'm not sure it applies so well to me since I already do everything you described😅and explained my targeting. Well, can go in order and hope to clear up any misunderstandings. 1) I target the Defend part because it's specifically the Maw, I want that broken since it has the strongest attacks in phase 2; without Maw, very weak. I've damaged it, but because Kromer will heal 15% Max HP on all body parts, if I leave Maw alone because of the Defend skills it'll heal most the damage I've done to that part already, so I have to keep up the pressure. 2) Half of what's said in your point one apply to this, but I do adjust who's doing the clash all the time, it's a lot of what I was doing at 3:40. I agree it's basically the best way to get faster units free attacks while lower speed ones (who can still force the clash) takes the clash (or also attack for free if faster units staggered first). However, lot of my units have zero or negative damage multipliers during attacks (without Kromer debuffing herself or stagger), so I can't just force staggers, especially when the other body parts will still attack so I need to clash them. It's due to that I had to go at it slowly bring a part down. 3) I don't think I spread my attacks, unless clashes counts, in that case I did spread attacks but it's pretty necessary given all my characters take like 200% more damage from any attack, I can't really ignore them. I did focus breaking one part at a time, specifically I went from Maw, then Left Arm, then Right Arm. I went for Maw since it has the strongest attacks when active, then the Arms (Wings) for two reasons: [1] no better option after Maw especially since I still need to clash against the Arm's attacks; [2] for each Arm broken it applies a -2 Attack Power Down to Kromer, can see by the end of it Kromer gets +3 Attack Power Up but also -2 Attack Power Down during clashes, meaning only a +1 Attack Power Up instead of the usual +3. Just in general makes the clashes easier so I can more safety continue chipping down Kromer's HP. Also, I agree bring bleed to Kromer is a mistake, but looking at it in another way, it's like an extra challenge mode to beat her while she Bleeds XD
I can understand the Want to Destroy Maw 1st. When I said you separate attack, You clearly did that during Kromer is Stagger. For What I see on your gameplay, if you Focus on Kromer Body, You can Win the Battle much earlier.
Oh, I see which Stagger you're speaking of, the point at 15:40, I did in fact split my attacks and it was pretty pointless. In my defense, I still broke the Left Arm I wanted, but an error on my part nonetheless plus I pretty much wasted Ryoshu's attack for no reason, a blunder. You're also right in your observation on focusing the Body. After breaking the Maw, if I just clash the Arms and use my leftover attacks on the Maw since I'll now get more than 100% damage bonus on it since it's broken, I would've killed the Kromer much much faster than slowly working away at the Arms too. I was playing too cautious despite not really needing to after breaking the Maw, I can definitely reflect on that.
Could someone help me with Kromer? Directly tell me what to do 👉👈, it's that I really don't know how to play, I have a team that works because I get to overcome the first phase But the second one didn't achieve much honestly
Wow you really went for the death by thousand cuts. Ironic given the passive. Each to their own and if nothing else it will be an experience you will likely remember. While a bad team comp due to bleed your logic being shown make this oddly a good video showing the kind of logic players should have. Players are too quick to see the clash prediction not understanding it only look at the first coin clash and sometimes is just straight up wrong in terms of the overall result. It and auto clash in general can be good for mirror dungeon normal battle where you likely have 45 sanity anyway but awful for when you are in a serious fight. With that said I might use your video as a ref for players still learning the game on how to think. Personally while N Corp Rodion carry me though dungeon I got to this part and saw it wouldn't really be possible. I quit out of the game and use exp tickets to bump a base character level I thought would been the most useful to par and just switch her out, had no issues and didn't need to restart the dungeon as levels transfer over, you just can't switch units/Egos once in the dungeon.
@HarambaeXelonmuskfans Thank you for mentioning the sinners needed and the blunt stuff. A lot of the ingame stuff is just symbols so it is hard to tell what it means or is effective. I did 16 now fairly easily. I already know the rarities and uptier stuff but it is still hard to figure out what weaknesses stages have (there is no enemy preview for whatever reason). But this helped a lot!
@@eff-fume Welcome to ProjectMoon where rarities doesn't matter instead seeing the vulnerabilites of the enemies matter. Jokes aside, yes ch.3 is full of enemies with weak to blunt resistances. Try to build a comp with 2-3 sinners with blunt attacks

I mean, technically we do lose the fight, so I guess this is canon
I think it was bugged before, and they recently fixed it

Or Ishmael, although her bind is not as OP as Meursault
