I have been following BAM since before it offered a paid option. I have always found their information superior to any other source. I normally don't read comments, but there are a lot of "experts " here. My father's definition of an expert was: x is the mathematical term for an unknown, and a spurt is a drip under pressure. Therefore, an expert is an unknown drip under pressure.
I love your forecasting!😀 I've seen some sources like TWC stating since last winter that this winter is suppose to be warmer and drier here in the deep South and Southeast mainly due to them expecting La Nina to develop by early to mid Fall and become stronger by this winter. TWC still calls for us to have above to well above average temperatures for January through March for the South and Southeast. I don't know if there is a La Nina yet or not. Some sources like TWC have stated for a while that December would also be above average in temperatures but that changed. I don't know if I believe this winter will be warm here in the South or not anymore. All the sources stated that this winter would be warmer due to La Nina. Some still do but now other sources like since one seem like it's going in the opposite direction. That's where I'm getting confused about how this winter might play out. I know nothing is set in stone and that a lot can change over the course of the winter.
I'm actually not a believer on snow chances for IN ,MI OH for the outlined snowy area just because of one factor, I think the air will be TOO COLD for hefty snowstorms..for BIG INDIANA snowstorm we usually need temps to hover around or just below that 32 degrees line. I think in late Jan early Feb will be a thaw and that's when the baraclinic zone gets loaded with activity. That being the Ohio valley thru the great lakes and into the NE...
When it gets warm in Alaska it get's warm in the United States. I know Russia wanted it back, but I didn't know they got it. That's OK. I asked a job recruiter once if she had any jobs in Alaska, she said that they only had job in the US...I had a quiet chuckle to myself.
Can't say that for sure... yet. Record breaking cold start to December for the lower Ohio Valley before temperatures quickly warmed up getting into mid-late December.

Do yall think northeast Texas will get cold ?

Best chances will come upon arrival and exit (so early January and late January) for the areas you mentioned.

Will this be a record breaking cold? Knoxville Tennessee set a all time record low of -24 below zero in January of 1985.
Can't say that for sure... yet. Record breaking cold start to December for the lower Ohio Valley before temperatures quickly warmed up getting into mid-late December.
Also do you think Ohio will start to get snowstorms?
Good forecast; don’t listen to the ignorant idiot trolls.
Appreciate it! A lot of uneducated assumptions out there!
Anything out over 7-10 days is a 50/50 chance
Not exactly!
Wrong answer.colder to the west milder in the east.
This is completely false. Where are you getting your weather information?
Appreciate what you do, but its the same story every year...pushed back and by the time everyone says its going to snow we're all ready for spring....
We have pushed nothing back. This is right on time with what we have been discussing for weeks now.

What???? lol. What data do you use then?

Don't worry it won't happen you guys say the same stuff all the time and it gets cold for a couple of days then back to above normal.
You do realize parts of the East had their coldest start to December on record?
BAM WEATHER is right!
You are so wrong. Calling for cold in the west and milder in the east.
Where are you getting your info from?
So hype something up and you don't even know how long it will last or how cold it could be normal for all weather guys
This is just blatantly false. I suggest you go elsewhere with your nonsense.
Now that comment right there is just stupid. They’re not “hyping” anything, but they’re telling what trends are showing. Don’t be a hypocrite
