@DarknessDragoonRose as to satoko's uncle not being as much of an asshole that could be do to the fact this is based off and arc where satoko isn't suffering and he only plays a really minor part

All "FINAL"s in this song, but especially the last one, grate on my nerves. Either Eiko's thick accent, OR this warbly electronic effect, NOT BOTH please. Still, this is a kickass song in every other way, so... yeah. I like this!

the real problem was that in the visual novel everyone has a doll except mion so when keichi got the doll he prefer to give it to rena that already has one. so in the visual shion madness is more justified

this movie is really supposed to be reality; in the anime the police did nothing to stop the fight between rena and keiichi, what police in real life would let a child kill another child? and rika in the movie looks about the age of a 6th grader; which is like almost to the age of a teenager and do you think a teenager would pass as cute by saying nipah, that would probably make them look weird;plus if you think about it, the things they do in anime are mostly not possible in real life.
Scout Chrysanthemum in Japan most of there live Adaptations don't make the characters look like how they do in the anime sooo... Yeah pretty much understandable in my opinion :) Though you do make an interesting point in this case when I saw this movie I couldn't tell the difference between Rika and Satoko at all...

just watched it, and i must say i'm impressed by it. not only was it not a failure like some anime live action movies, it made me love higurashi more.
