DK, I watch all your Double Shots and Daily Shots and you always mention the 3 blocked kicks/ punts. Don’t forget about Minkah! Just because they called it a penalty doesn’t mean it didn’t happen! Tomlin said he called New York and they admitted that should not have been a penalty. We’ve successfully blocked 4 kicks this year. Just because the refs messed up does not erase the fact that we’ve gotten home 4 times in the last 3 games! Love your shows!

I was thinking the same thing about the schedule DK. Back in May it looked like a buzz saw but , now it doesn't look so bad. Last nine games they can get 6 maybe 7 wins. Yes I'm saying they can compete with those teams now that Russ is behind Center.
I really feel like letting Najee go would be a big mistake, he’s not always great but he’s always available and he wears down defenses, and he is always gonna have some really good games, keep him Steelers please!!

James Pierre deserves props playing 2.5 quarters off the bench when Jackson went down, finished with a coverage grade of 85.5 vs very good WR’s! Allowing one catch for 15 yards, well done! If the Steelers get a legit WR addition before the trade deadline you can firmly say if healthy in January the Steelers will be capable of beating anyone in the AFC period!! If two things! Health and adding a WR, then they are a legit contender.
Solid and Russ brought out more than I thought we had. I still think we need a legitimate WR2. All that said this team is a win a playoff game team. I think we are healthier and better next season but how do we approach the QB situation next season. We are not SB contenders this season

He's been used before??? He been a good weapon, but due to the blocking taking tons of hits he's been used to block more. As the line heals I do hope they get him out more, especially in the redzone
I don't understand why we barely started using him! Most players know that Darnell running full speed at u can result in a bad injury. Jst ask Robert Spillane how well that worked out for him when he was with us and he blocked Derek Henry. Give that giant the ball more!!!!!!!!!
*Yea gotta remember that Washington is also the self proclaimed "6th OLineman" The 6'7 280lb TE can really block and the RT Jones needs all the help he can get. Be different if Fautanu was not hurt and out there at RT like it was planned. And lastly let's not forget that Pat Freiermuth is a Top Tier type pass catcher at TE and I would argue a Top10 receiving threat at the position. The hands over the middle. The eyes and feel for zone coverage, and the ability to make the 1st player miss tackle and make multiple players being him to the ground. Washington and Freiermuth do form a heck of a pair tho ehh*
Lev was just amazing while he was here. He could dance behind OL because 4 of the 5 would not lose the rep. This 2024 group isn't that. A flash of daylight = hit it with everything
Everything Russ did Justin can do, I see they let Russ do a lot more throwing plays then they did for Fields and I know why he’s been in the league a long time and he won a superbowl so they are more comfortable with him out there, they should of done the same with fields, yeah Russ got 2 TD but one of them where giving to him on the 5 yard line from a int by bishop, but what I did see is for some reason it looked like the team played harder for Russ and Russ was very vocal on the field almost every play he was calling something out and that’s good, that comes with experience but Fields is definitely the future which is awesome, let’s see what Russ do for the text 6 games like fields did and evaluate, anyways having 2 good QBs is a good thing, y’all see how happy coach T was, it was like him saying I told yall like one game proved Russ is the guy, I say we need more before that decision in my eyes because first half he was horrible, #GoSteelers
In this scenario do you plan on keeping Russ? I think that’s the difference maker. If we don’t keep Russ I could see a 2 yr 25 mill (10 a yr +bonus) I don’t see a universe where JF takes backup money and I don’t think we can afford to pay both
The Browns were 1 injury away from becoming a better football team. The Bengals are coming into form. The timing of Ravens games matters because of the level of physicality and bodily harm. This second half of 2024 is not any easier than it was preseason.
I don't think this team has hit their peak. We saw a small glimpse of what this team real potential is. I think Justin is our future... however Russell is a veteran NFL QB and will make this offense operate more efficiently.
Isn't it a bit premature to kneel to Russ all of a sudden? They'll be booing him off the field by next week if he doesn't have recievers catching all those balls. He needs a few games to truly prove he's Seattle Russ and not Denver Russ.

Look at the draft classes the last few years and the Steelers have always been top tier at the draft. The player development program etc. The Steelers have a loaded roster with as much talent as any team but the QB situation is the question mark correct ?? But what about the other positions ?? Loaded with depth and a nice mix of veterans and young players on 1st contract*

I think we'll win 4 of the 6 divisional games. That gers us to 9 wins minimum, plus 1 or 2 more for 10/11.
