My friend Mitchell Land introduced me to Alan's playing as a young teenager almost 50 years ago. What an influential player. Thankyou for having him on.
I betcha he was on his way to teach at KAUFMANN KAMP!!! I went there when I was just playing mandolin to get lesson from Roland White, and the banjo player/friend said he learned SOOO MUCH from his group lessons with Mr. Munde, and now that I've taken up the banjo, he I TOO have learned VERY USEFUL, and VALUABLE STUFF from the man's videos on your channel and others!! THANK YOU BOTH!!
I must commend you on the sound mix. The voices and banjo are well balanced. So many videos need to be turned up to hear the conversation and then the banjo demonstration is way too loud. No need to run the volume up and down with your video!

"I've been working on it for a long, long, time." What's my excuse?! Alan is pure genius.
I always thought the banjo was intimidating until I heard this man. Makes me want to get one
I haven’t done that yet. I need to get back into it.
Great banjo lesson of a master!
Great lesson
So simple but erudite. This lesson was very useful.
Hmmmm. Ive got a banjo somewhere. This has just inspired me to have a go at what you are saying. Thanks for the good lesson.
Great! You're welcome!
Well that sure helped .
For guitar week can you please do a flatpicking version of maple leaf rag
