This is very helpful! This will be my first time experiencing the Expo, and Im a little overhelmed! Especially after the nightmare of trying to get tickets and transferring them! I have a 1 day pass for Sunday so I'm trying to figure out the panel piece before they open it up for scheduling.

Thank you! That’s so exciting! So the badge transfer is just so you both can individually choose what reservations you want to make. (Unless they add any other purpose) So if you both want to enter for the same exact things when time for reservation selection comes, the cast member I spoke to before said you don’t have to transfer them. Basically whomever’s account currently has the badges on them would be the person doing the bookings but you would both have to do all the same things at the event.

I just saw it! Yay! I don’t believe they let you trade, but if I remember correctly (and if it is the same) they would be allowed to bring you as a guest with them if they had listed a number of guests that would be in their party. Not sure about actually trading though.
Information that was just released specific to the 2024 event about virtual queues shows certain stores only available on certain days. I found it listed in the D23 app under virtual queues. There’s so much they put out specific recently it is confusing. 😱 So, depending on what store you want it is for Friday and Saturday only, but how I read it, is that for some stores it will be all three days.
thank you for this very helpful video! i may be in the minority of people that will be arriving by plane friday morning, but i arrive at 8am in santa ana. then i still have to get my luggage and go to my hotel on harbor to drop it off. however, do you think there will be far less people queuing up in line to just get through security and into the convention center for the first time, after 930-10am? i’m hoping to avoid that huge wait that i saw last convention with people snaking the convention basement just to get inside 😅
Thank you! Hmm I think that you will definitely beat the long line waiting but since it takes so long to get everyone inside, you still might come into the end of everyone being ushered in. They sort of do it in groups, but it’s hard to say. If they are very efficient, you might get to walk in very easily without being in the crowd. 👍🏼😊
The virtual queue is to get a time to enter a store at the Anaheim convention center only, and it will be on the Disneyland App. The information sent from D23 said it will be on the Disneyland App through the D23 app. So I think they will have a link that takes you from the D23 app to it to make it convenient 🤷🏻♀️ but if you don’t have the Disneyland app downloaded, it will delay you getting a boarding time because all the link is going to do is take you to the Disneyland app. (If it’s not downloaded already it will have to prompt you to do so)

Very good question! I’m not totally sure how far you can be, but I joined the queue from my hotel which was down the street so you definitely don’t need to be onsite. Just, if it’s something that’s super important to you to get into standby if the queue doesn’t work out, you might want to be there that early to get in line as a back-up plan. That could be a lot of waiting though!
The virtual queue works the same as the virtual queue that you use for rides within the park where it applies. So while it is random in the sense that there is no priority… it definitely has a “first come first serve” element of having to try and enter the queue as early as you can. It can fill within a few minutes just like the rides do within the park that still work off virtual queue.
For specific products, unfortunately I haven’t noticed anything yet and I’m keeping my eye out. The most detailed thing I have seen so far is if you go to the D23 app and click on merchandise and shopping it will take you to a page that lists the stores and some general ideas of products. Then also if you go to the website and go to schedule they have added a place that shows all the shops with info about each one, but I still don’t see product releases. My best advice is to keep checking those two places because maybe they will post them there too. 👍🏼

What is the best way to see all product releases for D23 ?
