  • HTVRont just released their Auto Press. I've been using it to test out different projects and thought it might be helpful to compare it to my other heat press which is the Signature Series from Heat Press Nation. I hope this video helps you make a more informed decision about purchasing the HTVRont press. Don't forget to hit that thumbs up sign if you liked it!

    Awesome presentation comparing the two. I have the HTVRONT heat press and would not recommend it to anyone. The heat press itself is not bad, does a good job. Where the problem lays with the heat press is the lack of support. Trying to contact HTVRONT is one of the worse experiences I ever dealt with. I used their online form, emailed, and many attempts called. No response in all of forms I used to contact them. Left voice messages many times. And for these reasons alone is why I highly recommend to stay away from HTVRONT products. Don’t support companies by buying their products if you can’t get support within a timely manner.

      That is so unfortunate but it’s not the first time I’ve heard that. Customer service goes a long way for me and I hate to hear when companies done value it.

    Great comparison on the two machines. I have the HTVRONT and love it. I needed a machine smaller and lighter than my regular heat press to go into my craft room. I had I am just now getting into sublimation and have found that if I need a bit more pressure I just use a ver thin piece of wood or cardboard and it works fine. I don’t find it off putting that so many people complain about the sweatshirt issue. Just turn it sideways and the problem is solved. As far as the limit of time, I haven’t had to press anything longer that 90 seconds so that is not an issue either. I was making car coaster and went thru a dozen blanks before I discovered that to get even pressure I just needed to put a thin shim under my project and the problem was solved. All of my mess ups were really just leaning hoe to use the heat press and now I don’t have any issues at all.

      Great idea about adding the wood for pressure. Since doing the video I tried the hoodie to the side and it did work out. I agree it’s a machine. I just don’t think it could be my only one because I do need times longer than 99 and if I’m making a lot of things it’s not as easy as my clamshell. But that heating time is AWESOME!

    Here is a hack for doing your tote bags. Turn it so the handles stick out from the side. You can increase the pressure by placing a USPS free shipping box under the mat. Ño cutting needed. The box will stick out the front but is not in the way

    Thanks for this! I was wondering about the time limit, basically ceramic tiles, plaques, and those types are going to be out of the picture with the HTVront for now. Clamshells seem to be problematic on multiple items, making more pressure at the back versus front when closing. Was really hoping a straight down pressure press would be more product adaptable.

    • @marklola12
      @marklola12 Рік тому +2

      yeh the 99 second limit is stupid, even htvront employee told me via instagram they think it was a stupid idea, either weay the autopress simplay can not apply enough pressure for alot of items anyway so its a waste of money. and doing multiple presses can smear images when sublimating ceramic and glass as once it lifts up the paper can change shape and alter even when taped so you get ghosting. ceramics i do need 360 seconds and glass 180
      you are better off getting a swing away one as you lower them straight down and it has even pressure..mine also has a pull out draw

    • @TheCraftyBrick
      @TheCraftyBrick  Рік тому +1

    Hello Courtney, I just started following you on UA-cam and I loved your demo comparison between the two heat press machines. I have the HTVRONT press and I agree with the things you mentioned. I'm wondering what your thought are about maybe pressing the tote bag on the HTVRONT without the pressing pillow. Because the HTVRONT press padding is aleready thick. May the colors would have come out a little better.
