My German Pinschers love scent work. When they show signs of boredom all I have to do is open my scent box and pull out a target odor to hide.....they are animated! I have competed in NACSW and titled my boy at novice level and again now with AKC Scentwork...this is so easy to do....once you learn the basics for training a scent.

Beware - Nosework/Scentwork is very addictive! It's a great sport for handlers and dogs of all ages. My Dalmatians and I LOVE this sport!

The dog can be mixed breed but has to be registered with AKC??? I've always had rescue dogs but would love to do this with them.
My dogs love scent work. Dock diving is there favorite but scent work is a close second.

Do the dogs have to be AKC reg. ? I have a JRT.
In order to earn a title they do have to have an AKC Registration or PAL Registration through AKC. Your JRT will love doing this I bet.
