Worth noting: 4 decades after a prop bomb exploded in his hand, Lloyd was keeping that damaged hand (which was missing fingers) hidden under his suit jacket during the interview.

I was wondering why he wasn't showing that hand. Thank you for explaining the reason why. Poor fellow sacrificed safety to get the product out to supreme standards that stand up to time as it turns out...

This is not remastered ..and it shows.. what a shame this cannot be enhanced digitally..🤔 I wish it could... All the silent footage contained herein suffers it seems in visual quality..just my humble opinion... that is too bad.. what year is the subway scene?? ..Still grateful for this program ... Thank you so much...👍👍🙂😎

I'm pretty sure that's the subway scene from Speedy (1928). You can see it in much higher quality on streaming or even here on UA-cam.i

Lloyd should have lived at least as long as Hal Roach.🤔🤨. he should have lived into his 90s.. if not to 100 as Roach did ... if not for those photography chemicals ... .. toxic stuff..☠️🚧... may have shortened his life ..☹️😭 just my humble opinion...😭😭😭🕯️🙏💘💔🌹

Imagine witnessing all those changes over a century. 1890s - 1990s. Fashion, music, culture to name a few.

What a horrible interview. We learned nothing.
