DAPS MAGIC was created by a very special group of Disney Annual Passholders and Disney Fans who had a dream for a place on the internet that people young and old could share their love of Walt Disney and his legacies in a safe and fun atmosphere.
Whoever is playing Mickey you can tell they are so ready because you can see them bopping to behind the gate, that’s dedication!
We were there - it was a rough start but Todrick was with his crew on Main Street and it washed away any of the first day mistakes - all of the dancers / characters acknowledged Todrick in fun ways as they passed him - these dancers brought all the Todrick feels and kept the energy all the way down the park on this run through! Professionals all the way...now we need a "Nails, Hair, Hips, Heels" villain breakdown added to the parade....
The thing is it’s kinda procedure I think for them to start bopping even before the gates open
@@edcampbell2419 I don't see any mistakes at all aside from Moana's float wasn't lit up. Maybe they were trying to fix it at the start so they delayed it.
You see that on every Parade, its because if you as a Parade Performer cant see Guests, Guestes maybe see you, so i think this is an instruction
Todrick outdid himself with this one 👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾❤❤❤
All of the female dancers are totally on point and the guys are pretty good too, but the Ringmaster's dancing is so perfect for this parade. Her facial expressions, timing, quad turns, arm positions, hand configurations to match the movement, and even the angle of right-sided upward gaze for the hat adjustment moves. And I love how they all kept dancing even when the float broke down and then filled in the time when they had to go back to the gate. Well done.
The music is so good in person! I was there today, and it's definitely a bop! I love it so much. This is my favorite Disney Parade ever.
I' hope is coming the Soundtrack!!!! ^_^
It really is a lot of fun!
@@Dapsmagic Yes, it is magic happens only at Disneyland ;-)
anyone know if they will release the soundtrack from this parade? i liked it so much, especially the final song
Em ssssazvb
The relief on the CMs face when the float started moving... priceless!
Love the theme song, sounds Greatest Showmanish.
written and produced by Todrick Hall, so it's very musical/broadway themed
Omg I can't wait until Disney reopens after the coronavirus problems, this looks flipping AWESOME
Sorcerer mickey and minnie are so cute in their brand new sorcerer's outfit and they looked amazing and beautiful
the costumes are GORGEOUS i love how vibrant the colors are [i especially love the blue fairy wearing that deep blue color rather than her usual pastel and aurora's half blue half pink dress]
the floats also look wonderful, i think my favorite would have to be the coco one, and the choreography is great, i'm just not sure about how i feel about the music...
is anyone gonna talk about how when it said with a little pixie dust tinker bell started to throw the pixie dust and was dancing and peter saw and stole the sun shine lol
I’m ready for the world to go back to normal so we can go to Disney again!!
Can't You Believe it's been one year since Disneyland Introduced us to this parade? Time flies despite that it has been closed, it shall reopen again with a second wind.
So nobody is going to talk about mickey's float broke down at the start
really?
cat man07 I think the stuff and dancers did a great job to buying time for the backstage stuff to fix the float
maybe he realised he needed to visit the little mouse room first :)
Those dancers did an amazing job of filling that time seamlessly - absolutely bossed it! 👏👏👏
Yes, you also see a cast member giving the sign to the dancers to hold the places
This song is so cool !!!!👍
I have never seen such a cool parade!!!😄
Thank you so much DAPS Magic, we all so need this right now!
Thanks for the likes my fellow Disneyland fans. Are you Annual Pass Holders? I will wait it out for a vaccine to go back. Not about myself, but about getting others sick. It's a magical place. Before during and after. See all of you there in time. Walt would want it that way. He would never want anything to happen to his little girls, nor would he to your yourselves or your children. Lives before rides.
Keep sharing from you archives Daps Magic!
I need this back because the music rules, especially Paint the night! Both of those parades should come back!
That would be so fun!
I love disney 😍😍
Way to go Todrick!
The Moana float’s screens were off it seems
Tinker Bell's dance ... on point.
I love this parade 💝💝💝 I wanna dance this song this is anthem
It’s so much fun!
:o now I know where the Mickey parade float driver is >:)
Not the best Disney has ever done but I really like the sword in the stone float! Fun music too!
best video of the parade by far
Thank you!
@@Dapsmagic You really did a fantastic job! :D
@@MadTPartyMTP Thank you so much! That is very kind of you to say! - Mr. DAPs
This parade probably won't be back until late summer (at the earliest) after the Covid-19 restrictions have been lifted. Can't have people so close to each other along a parade route. So sad. Such a damper on Disneyland's 65th anniversary.
omg. Now i'm even more sad :(
Bro, Prince Phillip really be waving to no one 🤣🤣 Love this whole parade though! 24:30
It's probably in the pre-designed choreography to wave at certain areas during certain parts of the music.
@Brianna Chiavetta In Disneyland Paris they sometimes wave at Trees
mren this has me on the floor
there was a group of people he was waving at on the left
I wanted all the guests to start back on meet and greets 1 of these days see what they can do
Tommorow is Magic Happens Parade 4th anniversary.
Great Video
Great job securing a primo viewing spot, great job finding your frame and holding it (rather than constantly zooming in and out, as many amateurs do), and terrific job locking in the correct exposure! Just two suggestions: 1.) Avoid the stroboscopic effect by shooting at 24fps and setting your shutter speed to 1/48 (or 1/50, if you don’t have 1/48); and 2.) don’t use a tripod designed for still photography when you’re shooting video. A tripod designed for video will allow you to pan and tilt smoothly. But otherwise, great job!
Thanx for the video! The music was great! Wish I could get there to see it in person!
I' hope is coming the Full Soundtrack sometimes. :-)
Glad you enjoyed! I hope you get to at some point!
I hope the full soundtrack comes out also!
@@Dapsmagic thank you, i' will be waiting what's happen next. ^_^
@@Dapsmagic yeah, me too ^_^
magic Happens Parade disneyland
👏🏻😸❤🎉
@TheBitBlock I think @Klevin 105 was right, its the music. This parade is different from others because this parade has two different theme songs, you'll notice the floats in the first half all have a variation of "Magic Happens" and fits in with the song (Magic Happens). The second half is a much slower song. I think they ran out of time with the float music for the second half of the floats, and just used this slower tempo song "Just Believe" (I think it sounded like it was supposed to be showstop music), and they just used it instead of finishing individual music for the remaining floats. Just my opinion. LOL SMH
what happen to parede its floet
The floats are fantastic, but there's just _so much space_ in between them. I get the whole 'quality over quantity' thing, but the floats in Soundsational were great and there were more of them, and the lack of backup dancers doesn't help either.
Oo
11:14 Am I the only who saw Ariel in Moana's float?
Is it intentional the way floats were spaced from each other ?
Yes cause in spaces where there’s no floats they let people cross to get to the other side of the sidewalks
@@5569ashley Ok thanks ! I was wondering because during these "break" we hear almost nothing and it feels a bit empty
It was only this running and a few other of the first runs so the park and the press could get clear shots of the floats and units.
The gaps are also there so the music for every float don't clash together and sound noisy, every float has a sensor and when it comes near a speaker, the music will start to shift and change to the theme of the float segment, it gives people time to adjust to the new characters, themes, and choreography of the dancers
@@velky_reeds I don't think that is why because no other parade has this kidn of massive gap between floats. In Florida our parade has no giant empty spaces like this.
what happened to the mickey float at the start?
It broke down
Mr. Sulu, did you remember to release the emergency brake before stepping on the accelerator?
But the Daisy Duck 🦆 so post be here parade with Minnie Mouse 🐁
Thanks for sharing this. I find it an interesting parade. I think the Tiana float was my favorite. The music though felt very 90's and just off. I do miss the days of a FULL parade without all the gaps between characters or floats.
Casey C Beard the occasional gaps to let guests cross the street/walkway is fine, but this certain parade had quite a lot of empty spacing
@@CrazyTurtle133 That's what I meant. The gaps were huge
@@caseycb79 The gaps are for the media preview. It allows media to get clear shots of each individual segment.
@@mastahfrederique3380 thanks!

Oh, so kristoff isn't good enough to be on the float with everybody else? Wow.
It's better than Kristoff not being in the parade. 🤷🏽♂️
He at least is able to interact with the kids. I found one video of him hugging a little girl and the mom taking a picture of them together. He even showed a ring to the audience and asking, wheres ana I'm about to propose! He really makes you laugh during the parade.
Parade starts at minute 8:28 before that it is just waste of time. You are welcome.
On the contrary. I LOVE the song at the beginning. So the fact it's on repeat for the first half of the video is amazing!
