For the videos, I would suggest using a darker machine. Mine is black/dark grey and I have no trouble seeing the control panel. Of course, I don't have the studio lights either. Great video!

Ooops, sorry, one more comment. Using Starbuck's Pike Place Roast, I found it to be a bit weak. I used BOLD setting and it was just fine. When I used French Roast beans, both Starbuck's and Coffee Bean and Tea Leaf, I had to go back to normal setting. The dark French Roasts were a lot stronger than the medium roasts. Again, thanks for a great video.
Awesome coffee maker! I ordered it through the Just A Dad link this past Wednesday and I received it today, early Saturday morning (FedEx). Free shipping, Walmart. I added Peet's Major Dickason's dark whole beans in the hopper and spring water in the water reservoir. I love this machine! It's a bit tedious to clean the brew basket and holder and wipe away the coffee grinds that come out of the grind hopper into the basket, so I now brew 16 ounces instead of 8 ounces. I use a large insulated coffee mug and it barely clears the seven-inch clearance. I'm keeping this machine. I ordered it in sage green and it's beautiful. My husband likes the Bold brew and I brew on Regular. It's actually a small footprint; I was able to remove off my counter the Mr. Coffee burr grander and the little 5-cup Mr. Coffee coffee brewer. I truly believe the taste of your coffee is totally dependent on the quality of your coffee beans. They need to be fresh and from a conscientious roasting company. It's so nice to drink freshly ground and brewed coffee. I own a Keurig Supreme Plus pod coffee maker; I'm getting tired of recycling those pods and I don't like that the coffee ground is only 2 tablespoons. This machine will grind more coffee if you want a larger cup of coffee, you're not stuck with just the 8-ounce brew. I've brewed my K-cups at 10 and 12 ounces and it's not that good. I hope this machine lasts. I'm going to take very good care of it. I've been waiting for a machine like this and the price point is very reasonable. Other similar machines are way more expensive, sorry, but that's not my budget. I'm so glad Just A Dad reviewed this!!

Hey there! Great videos thank you. Just wondering if your ‘Brew/Off’ button keeps flashing while in standby mode?
yes, that means you have not opened the the filter tray, once you open the tray it will stop, its reminding you to clean out the filter basket.
@@JustADad No this is constantly flashing. Even after I’ve cleaned it and it’s been dormant for awhile. It’s on the same screen that shows the time. I can live with it as not impacting anything but just wondering if you were experiencing the same thing.
