The best way to learn is NOT through tutorials imo
Look at the program and pick something that you don't know how it works. Now mess with it. Mess with it until you understand it. Move on once you think you know what it does. Literally touch every tool and button you see and just fuck around. That's what I'm currently doing right now I only watch tutorials for insiration

I loved the sheer amount of love and joy you can tell Savant gets from his natural born talent. I'm glad he found his calling, both as a listener and a human being.
Why this guy isn't up there with the big names is beyond me, but he really deserves that fame for that talent.

Its weird because i almost feel the exact same way as savant but for all i know the only disorder i ever had was adhd. But ever since being a little kid i loved all music, had all guitars, a drum set, bass, dj turntable, and i always had make believe sets/concerts too. Eventually i grew up, im 20 now, and at the start of quarantine i realize i wanted to start producing because i felt like i had 100s of songs going through my head every day that were fresh and i wanted to turn them into something. Now im just working on my craft and hobby, decided to go to school for mixing and mastering and sound design at full sail to help give me more skillsets so i can easily get these songs from my head to my computer. Ever since i was 6 i wanted to be good at music, but i have never actually realized or started working hard until this quarantine

This video is what I go to when I want to be inspired to make music, but sadly whenever I open up FL studio, I just have no flipping idea what to do, and I am uninspired again. It looks so complicated and imposing, so I sit there and I'm just like "What do I do first?". Savant is awesome though, he's my favorite artist.
