The amount of variety in Rebirth's ost is mind-blowing. Also, this is like the first time we ever get to fight Tseng in FF7 so the song wasn't in the original or other games The leitmotif at 8:25 is actually the Turks' theme Davi!
Clearly inspired by 70's Jazz Fusion, the drumming is reminiscent of Herbie Hancock - Actual Proof. For newer music, also Kamasi Washington is a good example. This is a quite groundbreaking song, to mix Jazz with epic choirs is something not a lot of People have done in the past, and the track is absolutely intense. A masterpiece
Seeing people like you analyze and really "feel" the music is one of my favorite things. I found a song I made a year ago, and I decided to polish it up and release it in the hopes that people like yourself, those who "feel" the music, would see it. I love seeing people enjoy music rather than listen to it. So, thank you.
That part where you were analyzing the chords was actually playing Shinra's theme! If you like this kind of stuff in FF7, I'd recommend The Runaround from Intergrade. I'd suggest listening to "The Runaround (Seamless Ver. 2) | Final Fantasy 7 Remake Intergrade" posted by Temperate Thomist, as that's the most seamless version I've found of the track.
If it wasn't for the original Shinra Corporation theme and the Turks theme appearing throughout this song, I would think this track was out of Cowboy Bebop!

Yeah the main sax part throughout the song is a Variation of the Turks theme.
Oh, Tseng and Elena! I don't see much people talking about this track, it is really good! The whole soundtrack is amazing, tbh!

This track SLAPS

I would like to recommend the "1, 2, Sabo!" Ost from Rebirth's soundtrack as well 😌
Thank you.
one of my favorite tracks but that's hard to say in this game!
Woah, crazy track, so cool. Uhm well, that's it. ¡Adiós!
For a moment it remind me to Yoko Kanno stuff you know
I would like for you to analyze theme of gore, chaotic gore, and shagaru magala.
Especially chaotic gore that have both aspect of gore and shagaru
completely new other than the incorporation of Shinra and Turks motifs
I know the two franchises have no relation to each other, but this one kinda reminds of Smash Ultimate music.
