Great song choice !! Thay needed to be back together as the main couple to follow in this stotyline . The storyline revolved around them as soon as Nathan appeared in the town. Lucas was an uninvited guest to the relationship almost from the first time he appeared. Now things are right again !!❤❤

@mrsacos I agree with you, Jack was very dedicated to his job, and of course he didn't know he would die. Plus, when she came to terms with it, she assured Nathan that it wasn't his fault. Only thing is, if they get together, she has to put up with Nathan being a Mountie too, but Nathan has said he would quit the Mounties, and I'm sure he would, but I wonder if there are jobs he can do for the Mounties without going on missions, like maybe a desk job or something, I'm sure he would do that if it meant Elizabeth was his, and since he knows what she went through when she lost Jack, just stuff that's running through my head, lol 😆
She didn’t want him to quit and I don’t either. Part of their story is her overcoming the fear. Plus every season at least one other person almost dies. This needs to be addressed and worked thru!
Great song choice. I am a fan of Janette Oke's books and in the WCTH series she has Elizabeth leaving her privileged lifestyle to settle in Coal Valley. And she falls in the Love with a Mountie. Lucas comes from a privelegd background so to me, it made no sense to pair them together. All of Ms Oke's books that I've read, are about working class life, rural, farm, faith, working class values. WCTH redeemed themselves by having Nathan and Elizabeth be end game.
