We use the metric system in the US military, and only in civi land do we really see a dependence on the Imperial System, so... even in America, we use metrics. 😊
@@dillan6134 What's the volume of a 1'×1'×1' cube in US customary or imperial units of volume? (Or a 1"×1"×1" one if you prefer.) What's its approximate mass? (From memory and all math done in your head.) In Imperial/US customary the bases (or more properly the conversion factors) depend on what you're measuring, what units you're converting to and from, and where in the world you are. For length it's 12, 3, and 1760 (for both). For volume it's 3, 2, 8, 2, 2, and 4 (US) or 3, 1.6, 10, 2, 2, and 4 (Imperial). For mass it's 16 and 2000 (US) or 16, 14, and 160 (Imperial). And that's just for the common, everyday units. In metric the factor is always a power of 10. That's not even considering the relationship between the different base units (for length, volume, etc.).
Love this lady, very informational
You go girl
Thank you for this. Fascinating.
Great presentation! Thx
very good and concise information
UA-cam when you go to hell take your advertisers with you!
Interesting video but I wish it had gone into more detail. An hour-long presentation (or even longer) would have been better IMO.
I do want to do something , I just dont believe it's physically possible for a man in my condition

This is in America, please don’t use the damn metric system.
Scientists don’t use imperial Mike.
