The stock clutch design works good for longevity and durability, but it lacks in overall performance and tuneability. The Speedwerx Wet Clutch Deletion Kit will help eliminate the lag and power delay that these units have been known for as well as increase top speed.
This kit removes over 4.5 lbs of rotating weight from the stock clutching set-up. The Primary clutch used is a Comet clutch that has been used in the snowmobile and ATV industry for 20+ years, it offers unlimited tuning and adjustability. This clutch is very similar to the primary clutches you see on all Polaris ATVs and Polaris and Arctic Cat Snowmobiles. The Speedwerx kit also comes 100 % complete and ready to install. The stock clutch cover is the only stock part we modify, all other parts can be returned to stock form if needed. The clutch cover is modified to accept the new primary clutch and we also put an oversized bearing in the clutch cover to help support the crank shaft to ensure everything stays in place.
The machine will feel like it has 25-30 more hp than stock, it will be more responsive, accelerate faster and offer more tuneability than the stock configuration.
