    The boho sign really did come alive with the wood beads! So much better than the ribbon!

    The importance of removing the napkin layers is becaue only the bottom layer gets attached and your printed part may not stay on. I would also suggest the iron method . It helps get out the wrinkles and for me i think it adheres better.. another way to remove wrinlkes is to use a piece of plastic wrap( Saran Wrap). Wad it up and dab the the napkin. It will smooth it out without tearing the napkin. You have some really cool and creative projects 😊

    I teally Love the pumpkin with the flowers. It's gorgeous snd I am definitely making one for myself and one for my daughter. I bought so many Fall floral picks and greenery and havent used hardly any. It's a great way to use some. The wood dice garland is another beautiful DIY and I'm going to make one also. I also bought one of the 3 plaques on the jute strand. I like your idea and how you styled it. I had fun watching and listening to you guggle and laugh. It's how crafting should be,enjoying the process and have fun doing it. Thanks for sharing all your projects

      I'm so glad you enjoyed all these projects and me laughing at myself! Crafting should always be fun and I like to show some of my mistakes or fails, if you will, because that's real life. Hahaha And also so you guys don't make the same mistakes I do. 🤣 Feel free to send me pics of what you recreate so I can share it on my Instagram stories. You can email them to me at camarosoper@gmail.com

    Hey Camaro! I was so excited when I seen you posted a video, and now I see that you posted 2 or 3 that I missed! 😞 I haven’t been on UA-cam much this summer, but I will definitely go watch them and get caught up! I love everything you made, as always! That white pumpkin centerpiece is absolutely stunning! And I love the blocks too! I’m so ready to begin Christmas crafting! I always get so excited for it and sad when it’s time to stop! Your daughter is so funny!! That totally reminds me of something my 7 year old granddaughter would do! 😂 I hope you and your family are doing great!! Have a wonderful weekend! 🍁 🎃 🍂🌻💛

      Aw thanks so much! It's definitely different for sure. I actually named my daughter Corvette to stick with the car theme. Haha We call her Vetta for short. My son unfortunately didn't get a car name, but people always joke that I should have named him Chevy or Ford or something along those lines 🤣

    New sub! I really like your open pumpkin idea, & I could also see that painted like a seashell w/a shell on top as a knob to replace the stem for use after fall. You could fill it w/toiletries or w/e for yourself or as a gift for someone. I love how simple toothpicks act as the hinge. You're very creative♡

    Hey! One your first one that u mod podged before and after putting your cardstock. You could have just laid your napkin down and put a piece of parchment paper over it and ironed it since u had let your mod podge dry. I hope that makes sense. Then put 1 layer over the top after u ironed it. It turned out cute though. You created some beautiful pieces. Ive watched u for a long time. Take care have a great week.

      Thanks so much for the advice. Someone else mentioned about using an iron too. I'm definitely going to have to try that next time. Thanks for watching and for your support. I know you've been part of the Dying to DIY for quite some time now and I really appreciate that! ♡♡

    You should try a new blade when cutting wood for any project or get a good quality finishing blade, or wrap painters tape around the area to be cut. You'd be surprised at how much better your cuts will be.

    • @dyingtodiy9534
      @dyingtodiy9534  11 місяців тому

      The crazy thing is is that the blade IS brand new. That was my 2nd time cutting anything. So I don't know if the blade is too thick or what. But I want a different one for sure.

    I think it might have been easier to have removed the ribbon on your 3 pieces that you put the napkins and beads on, then put the card stock over everything so it looked finished and professional. It's just my preference and just a comment.

    • @dyingtodiy9534
      @dyingtodiy9534  11 місяців тому +1

      Yeah, definitely would have been easi3r, but like I said in the video I was kind of going in a different direction, so I was just kind of keeping pieces in place until I made up my mind. I want to make another one of these though and I'll definitely be taking off the ribbon immediately

    I want to share a tip some may not know
    about. You will not have any bubbles or wrinkles with Mod Podge (MP) if you iron the tissue paper, paper, napkins, fabric, etc. to the Mod Podged project.
    1. Spread the MP on your project and let dry completely.
    2. Once dry, lay the paper over the MP
    3. Place parchment paper over the paper, and iron with high heat no steam. Household iron or tools like the Cricut heat press can be use.
    The ironed paper will be smooth, no bubbles or wrinkles, and very well adhered. Sand the edges to add that finishing touch
    Hope this helps someone. Blessings to you.

      It is the best way! Use this technique all the time!

      You're the 2nd person to mention that I should iron the napkins or tissue paper. I will definitely have to try that next time because it seems like no matter how much I smooth it out, there are still ripples in it.

    • @dyingtodiy9534
      @dyingtodiy9534  11 місяців тому +1

      I'm definitely going to try it!
