After an emberassingly long time, I figured out that in "this pc" you can just right click on " iphone storage" and find the option to import pictures and videos, this just loads up all folders, so it fixes everything, properties dont show 0b anymore, all folders are filled up.. The only problem left to figure out is why iphone shows I have 3k pics, but on windows, in properties it shows I have nearly 4k pics, skimming through the folders and sorting by type of file, nothing looks out of the ordinary, theres some aee files which I believe are useless, but theres certainly not enough to make up another 1k files worth.. also on iphone storage, it shows I have 52gbs worth of pics, yet on pc, with the extra 1k files, I come out at 46gbs.. overall its been a horrible experience, enough for me to call dibs on android the next time im in need of a new phone.

Thank you
Took 2 minutes to tell me the app ty anyways
@@sillyKit Glad you liked it. There's a lot of nuance with the reboot for drivers to initialize and folder selection for sync, especially if you're patience level is low like mine.
I imported a video onto my phone and now I can't delete it
how do i remove the photos
please i dont want gay yiff permanently stuck on my phone
now how do I do it in reverse? from iphone to windows
@@Dotkenn that's the easier way. You just connect your iPhone using a USB cable, then on your iPhone "allow" your PC to connect. At that point, if you open File Explorer > My PC > iPhone, you should see it, just like I showed in the beginning of this video
@@DeployJeremy ive been trying to transfer my files for the past 6hours, error after error, this and that, problems everywhere, like you cant even use bluetooth to transfer, apple is horrible, the only real solution im left with is paying to use icloud. Im so switching to android next time im in need of a new phone.
@@Dotkenn Out of curiosity, what version of Windows are you using and is it Intel or Qualcomm? I've heard that once you install either the Apple devices app or iTunes they replace the default storage driver with their own when you connect an iOS device. Is the cable an Apple one and in decent condition? Maybe that is a cause? For me anything Windows 10 and newer without any Apple software will see the iOS device. The cable does need to support data (some just charge), but that's it.
@@DeployJeremy I am using the newest windows 11 24h2, started rolling it out to everyone around 2weeks ago. My issues with apple are as follows: plugging in iphone would sometimes freeze or crash my pc (lol), some folders would show up empty, clicking properties on folders that have pics and vids would show 0B size, you cant use bluetooth to transfer (lol), using photos app to import would always give a different number of files found, im basically being forced to use icloud so I could send all my private sh*t to their sh*tty servers and pay them for the privilege.
@@DeployJeremy in my hours long conquest, I did at one point end up using unofficial third party software, and what was really interesting is how using the app bypassed asking for permission to allow the transfer of files, every time I plug in, iphone would ask whether to allow or not, but everytime I plugged it in with the app running, didnt ask for anything, and it pretty much loaded every single picture and video instantly, like literally instantly, only problem is that the app would incorrectly export only 10files out of the 3k, and then shove me with subscription prices.. How can an app like that do everything so damn well? Really shows you something doesnt it?
great video ! helped a lottttt ! thanks 🤍
Thankyou
How to delete it i need a tut
How do I transfer music to iPhone?
It's the same method. In the Apple Devices app, you just need to select Music on the left and choose your folder to sync. See 4:10
@@DeployJeremymight be better if he used iTunes tbh
@@Leo-hf9wo that's true. I've never been a huge fan of iTunes on Windows. It's good on macOS though
@@DeployJeremy true I just installed it from Microsoft store and it wouldn’t connect to my iPhone for some reason
hlo i have an problem
not working for me
The photos transferred this way cannot be edited or deleted. Guys help me delete these stuffs now.
That did not work for me
First Time using iPhone and WHY THIS SO EXPENSIVE PHONE CAN't DO A SIMPLE TRANSFER FILE from my pc to apple WHY MAKE IT SO COMPLICATED UNLIKE ANDROID THAT YOU JUST PLUG THE CABLE AND COPY PASTE TO FOLDER. I ABSOLUTELY REGRET THIS PURCHASE
AGREED
These aren't "files" from the iPhones "files" app 😓😭 . This vid should be titled how to transfer photos and videos from iphone.
hmmm well it seems that now the microsoft store doesnt offer an app called apple devices
I just checked and I see it. Might depend on your location?
@@DeployJeremy Is there anyway you can post it on here?
I had a totally different experience, mostly negative, trying to follow these steps. I gave up after 45 minutes. This is total BS that one cannot copy a file (jpg) from windows 11 to an ipad (18.1)
@@chriscoco547 did you reboot your Windows machine after installing the Apple devices app?
why iphone have to make everything's difficult, like only can install app from app-store, whereas my old android can download apk file and install
It's not difficult. You're just using pc which is an apple competitor and I don't think you would want to do right by your business competitors now would you?
It don’t work
Liar ... Careful it will just Sign from Pc. Not copy. You will not get any control of that file.
God I fucking hate Apple, I’m moving to Samsung asap. To many things Apple just make harder for you if your using anything but the full Apple ecosystem I’m not falling for there tactics
can we just admit that apple is trash? Thanks fir the help though
If not for the camera android is better in every freacking way
I will admit that, worst purchase I have ever made.
I was given this shitty iPhone and I don’t want it. I’d rather have my old android. This is absolutely unreal and I don’t know why people put up with it.
Yeah, I think Apple wants to prevent side loading things like music files or apps from sources they do not control.
@@DeployJeremy so I found an app called imazing. It allowed me to transfer videos to my iPhone, which was all I was trying to do. And I don’t know if it’s this app or the other ones I downloaded but now my iPhone won’t take a charge.
Shouldve not both apple
Hassle
Totally. I wish it was as easy as Android.
Its not working guys don't waste your time here...Look for something else i wasted my 2-3 hrs.
1/5 Stars...gee. I wonder why?
Apple makes the experiences in their own device ecosystem pretty good, just not always as good when it comes to cross-platform. You could argue that not allowing write to a connected iPhone is for security. If I were cynical, I would say it started by preventing file transfer of MP3 music files (and app packages) so that they "can ensure those files are safe with their built-in store protections and delivery mechanism." 😉
doesn't help
i phone sucks better buy pixel.
U talk to fast - Running out of time? lol
Waste of time
My iphone is connected to my pc via usb-c But the apple devices isnt recognizing the device its stuck in "connect a device to get started". i can see the apple deivce in the hard drive section but apple devices isnt working..
