1:07 At first, I thought that in your story it was the "research" that was literal while the "speeding down a hill on a bicycle" as just a metaphor for getting deep into the subject, like "down the rabbithole". Glad you survived.
It's always great seeing another of your uploads. Sorry to hear about your accident but i'm glad you're fine again. Very interesting video as always. You're quite a role model. And you are definetely the real life equivalent of my stardew valley character.
Awesome! Constructive criticism: the music is a touch loud. There are points where I cant hear or understand what you are saying. The music drowns you out.
@@iboughtafield just so you know, I am a professional sharpener of kitchen and garden tools. Never had I considered a sythe until I came across your videos. I am now learning all I can, working on a rusty sythe owned by a friend, and have 3 clients lined up for when I feel like I can do theirs properly! Thank you for being that inspiration!
@@WormBurger Wow, that sounds like such a fun career. What type of sythe blade? Is this an American/English/Scottish blade or an Austrian style one like I use for my mowing?
@@iboughtafield I'm going to assume american, judging by the fact that it's not very old, and I'm in Canada. But when I know more I shall let you know!
I love it! Well worth the wait! Glad to see you made a good recovery. I have had my share of bike accidents, helmets make living through a crash a lot easier. I speak from experience, had accidents wearing one and without. Pro tip, a well fitting half head (kinda like a military battle helmet) motorcycle helmet is a lot more comfortable, protective and last a lot longer than most bicycle helmets.
I am always happy to help! I have went rolling off a motorcycle as a kid with helmet and T boned on a bicycle by a car without one. Here is some unsolicited advice lol: I remembered heary stories from some motorcycle riding relatives. If you see you can not avoid hitting something. Turn your so the wheels are aimed at what you are going to hit lay it down and let it slide, ride the pegs or in this case pedals and hang on to the handle bars for dear life. Will get road rash but the bike absorbs the main impact. That saved me from being thrown off my bicycle into the big fast moving truck heading in the other direction.
love the hourglass detail through the video
Thank you :)
I love when this field turns into a theater!
Thank you for watching :)

Haha... it wasn't my most successful cycling trip. Luckily I had a friend with me who pulled me off the road.
Thank you for watching :)

Thank you. I was wondering whether I had been a touch loud on this one. Thanks for the feedback

Thank you, I will try that.
I quickly bought a cheap one, but I could do with a better one which is more comfortable. Thank you for helping :)

U done a great work with the bibliography
Thanks, I was hoping to give a few more details on the public domain images, but reached the character limit.
Ouchy, glad you are better now and escaped serious harm. Lovely history lesson on someone I do not want to meet for a while 🙂
