Thanks for posting, it’s good to see what other families are making. If you like Baileys, I would recommend trying Coole Swan - it’s on offer in Tesco at the moment. Similar to Baileys but a crisper finish & less foral. Enjoy the biscuits xx

Watching from the US. I've been doing this for decades, across the states, with different local brands. Some taste okay, some not. I go for the taste I like, but sometimes there's no real difference. Green beans are green beans. Pasta sauce does differ, therefore I get what I like. If you have the financial option, there's no sense going cheap if you don't like the taste of the food. Do you bake? You've got a lot of snack items. You don't have to make everything from scratch, but making a cake a week from a box mix would save on the cost of prepared foods cost and you'd have more control over what's in them. You can portion and freeze what you don't use immediately, tho that may not be a problem for you.
And because I'm that person, if you buy a tub of Thai curry paste, you can make curry whenever you want. I recognize that some people's work schedules or physical abilities may affect the ability to cook. But curry is so easy to make and keeping supplies on hand like curry paste (keeps forever) coconut milk, & frozen veg means you can have it any time. Nice haul. It's always interesting to see what people eat in other parts of the world.
I think I do the same, buying a mixture. As veg is veg, unless it's canned I think the frozen veg tastes the same as Fresh majority of the time.

Me bake?... Hahaha 😂 Oh, I wish I could but I'm not very good, I need a lot of practice & patience. I get disheartened when it doesn't go right, so that kind of makes my motivation non existent. 🫤 I know, we've lots of snacks, they are the only thing that I consider to be a ''bad habit'' of ours 🙃
I do usually buy the ingredients and make my own Thai curry 🙂 I just wanted a night off that weekend lol 😁 I make my own spaghetti Bolognese and chili con carne. I don't use jars of sauce. If you see some of my uploads in the New Year, you'll see I'm back on it 😂
