Thank you, I wish I seen this video before I set mines up, it would have saved me a great head pain lol, I did mines 2 weeks ago, it’s up with a slight lean due to my yard, it’s not completely flat, will fix it next year, thanks again 😁
I set my 14' up today by my self and what a help. They only thing I really did different was take a level to legs and make sure they were vertical. I've never seen anyone else do that but I thought it was a good idea. Now filling......... Now I need to get a handle on chemical use and will look at your other video. If I could give 500 likes I'd do, good stuff.
We purchased 1" foam gym flooring tiles that we place under our pool liner to provide extra protection to the liner. It turned out to be a fantastic idea for helping cushion the floor of the pool from kids splashing around. Our pool is a tiny one for now because we have young kids who are not quite swimmers.
They are 6 inches by apx 12 inches and about and inch thick. I put them.under once the pool had about a foot of water in it, and would adjust them a bit during the fill up.
I put them under for support so the legs don't sink a bit into the ground, I didn't the year before and by having them under made a big difference in keeping it nice and level.
Liner Guard, also known as Liner Pad or Pool Liner Felt, helps to protect your liner, cushioning it and creating a softer pool bottom. I cut it to the size we needed.
Thanks for the very helpful video. I am now doing some research, and would like to know whether you and your family and friends are happy with the pool/filter brand (durability/cleaning water) and the size of the pool. And if its good for older teens and adults just looking to hang out and have the odd dip cooling off and enjoying poolside drinks on a hot summer weekend :) Thanks for any insight!
Thanks because I just get one of these and I want to make sure that the pump keep the water clean before I'm start to upgrade and make some changes thanks
Here's a link on how to drain the pool (most of the water, the remaining can be drained by using the drain on the bottom/side of the pool (white cap is covering it)). We drain ours out into the back yard (fairly large yard), I've heard some draining it into the sewers on the road.ua-cam.com/video/japzU2ohdgg/v-deo.html I also did a video on how to take it down (this is the 14 foot model but the exact same as the 16 foot) ua-cam.com/video/N2NbAdgZUL4/v-deo.html
This really helped a lot for someone who’s never built one of these before. Thank you!
Glad it helped, enjoy the pool!
I watched your video & that’s all I needed. It’s was a quick and easy assembly. Thank you so much.
Your very welcome

Great video!couldn’t break it down more simple 👍🏼
Thank you 😊
Brilliant!
Thanks
Great video 🤩 can you share the measurements of the wood peaces ? And did you placed them under right before adding water ? Thank you so much 😊
They are 6 inches by apx 12 inches and about and inch thick. I put them.under once the pool had about a foot of water in it, and would adjust them a bit during the fill up.
You can wet your poles with a little water to help them slide thru
Great tip, I'll try that when I set it back up in June
@@PovertyPointCustoms you're welcome!
5:50 good advice! Wait are we still talking pools? 🤔
You used felt underlay before putting down the liner. Do yo have a link to that?
I actually got it from someone getting rid of their old pool, price was right, free!!
Do you need to have wood under the feet? What’s the purpose of the wood and would anything happen if the wood wasn’t there?
I put them under for support so the legs don't sink a bit into the ground, I didn't the year before and by having them under made a big difference in keeping it nice and level.
Looking great! What kind is the circled grey material underneath the pool?

@@PovertyPointCustomswhere can I buy that soft liner....
@@PovertyPointCustomsand cost
What type of material did you use for under the pool?
It is a felt underlay, nice and soft for the feet!
Did you fill it all the way to the top?
I just set mine up and all the water is coming out from the filter 🤔
I filled it half way up the skimmer

You would love it, just remember to clean the filter daily or every second day. The overall quality for the price is amazing!
@@PovertyPointCustoms A big thanks for getting back. It gives me more encouragement and confidence!!
Did you add wood under the legs
I ended up adding some, makes the base wider where the feet meet the sand
What is the black round piece for and the other black piece?
I would like to know the same thing!
The fact he did this all by his self I took us 6 people
Thanks! Once you know how to do it, it's not to bad to setup
Do I have to worry about anything poking the pool and getting a leak?
Mines held up great, even with several kids enjoying it
Hello ? are that pump work really good with that size of pool means are that pump keep your water 💧 clean
The pump works great but it's best to take the filter out and spray it with the hose every day or two to keep the water clear (plus chlorine)
Thanks because I just get one of these and I want to make sure that the pump keep the water clean before I'm start to upgrade and make some changes thanks
What about taking down? Where would all the water go? First timer here 😆

How tall are you compared to the pool. Thinking of buying one myself
6 foot, best to get the 16 foot by 48 inch deep one compared to the 14 foot by 42 inch deep.
What is the lifespan of one of these pools?
I've heard of people getting 5 or 6 years out of them (if you take them down in the winter)
how much would you charge for this installing?
Probably a few 💯
You didn’t show how you assembled the ladder.
That is true, it's quit simple to do though.
At minute 10:51 mines is different from yours and I'm having some trouble
What is different on yours?
man sounds like kermit
Kermit rocks so I'll take that as a compliment lol
Seriously ... not to me. Great and simple video, thanks very much.
my is leaking from the bottom
That's a pain! Rock poke thru?
@@PovertyPointCustoms I got it fix, I accidentally opened it it probably didn't put it right
