Went with the Type S as I don’t track my car… but, good lord, the quality was amazing! I like that everything is made in house. Nice to see someone else use the HKS product over the Ohlins.
I was between the R and FAs. They are on the stiffer side, but very street able depending on your road quality. I went off alot of people's word on other brands. I love them
@@Treece8026 Hey sir quick question. I am based in the UK. We have a lot more rain on average than the US and as such, our roads get beat up really bad. We also have a lot of twisty, tight, country roads. Pot holes etc. In your experience can you please give some thoughts on the stiffness and comfort you have noted on the R? I need to account for the fact our roads are significantly worse on average. i want sport feel but some level of comfort. Application will be an s15. I am also aware that i like to run my car low, so by extension need them to be a little stiffer, but I just want to make sure these aren't really stiff.
@BySixa Hey, Being in Europe is pretty cool to hear! Typically these will need a 200w Tread on your tires. That being said, 200s are sticker and don't like wet season. Also if you have lots of pot holes I wouldn't go with the "R" spec. The harder you push them the better they are but you'll not like the ride quality of the roads aren't well. Maybe a Hypermax S?
Any update about the drive i am so confused i need real advice tein are good super street for both use track not bretty good but decent and also good for riding or road trips
Depends on your budget, ill do a follow up video once she's back on the road. The harder you push them the better they are. Also depends on the track you're on and the type of roads. The Spring rates are different between models

This helps. I will likely be looking into S then! thanks
@@BySixaI have the S… beautiful product. It’s recommended by UP Garage in Washington for a road car as the R is definitely stiffer.
Are you still able to go any lower if you wanted to?
Yeah theirs ton of adjustments, my garage is on a slight uphill so i just dont want to. Once i get front Camber arms i will
