THANK YOU to everyone who took the Lucifer journey with us!! It was our first reaction series and we loved every minute of it!! We hope you stick around with us as we continue watching much more!!
The thing about celestials not being able to kill humans was a rule that God had in place, not a physical impossibility. Remember that Lucifer did kill Cain. Thank you for sharing the journey, guys! It's been a lovely ride.
Sniff. I loved how they resolved things in the final season, got to say their goodbyes, and I think it just brilliantly validated the entire series. It really felt RIGHT how the overall plot worked to get Lucifer where he needed to be. I SUPPOSE God had a plan. sheesh.
Just think what both Michael and Lucifer told Chloe at the beginning of Season 5, when he was away ony for 2 months "For you it's been a couple of months, but for me I was in Hell for thousands of years!" Chloe dies in her eighties so it must have been really millions of years. The showrunners explained, just after the last season had aired, that Lucifer might have gone back and visit Chloe during pregnancy (they didn't include it in the episode to increase the viewers' emotional response) but not when Rory was born otherwise she could remember her father in some ways, and she might not have been able to develop that hatred that made her travel back in time. Moreover Rory relies on what her mother told her (August 4th being the date when Lucifer disappeared) but as Chloe knows the truth, she tells Rory a lie because Lucifer actually disappears on August 5th
Linda is probably thinking “we shouldn’t have gotten rid of the bubble wrap” I was emotionally fine until I saw Dan with Charlotte in heaven. He can have all of the pudding he wants! It all went downhill from there for me emotionally.
He had to commit, because if she didn't believe that he had abandoned her, none of that other stuff would have happened and he would have never figured out his true calling, presumably. I still say he could have, (and maybe does) visit her as an infant but I get the premise even if it is a tad spurious. Who's to say he wouldn't have figured it out eventually anyway and what's the huge rush? No one in hell is going anywhere any time soon anyway. However, all in all I was pretty satisfied with the end. They did good. Thanks Jerry!
I like to think that there were a few times when the "kids were at Grandmas" and some celestial messenger service was deployed for Lucifer and Chloe to have some private time during those years.
When Rory comes back to her own time, Lucifer already knows, now, what his "vocation" is. No need for the unborn Rory to grow up angry without her dad.
I had so many issues with the ending for Lucifer, Chloe, and Rory. I will spare you my complaining because I have had over a year to get over it. It's just too sad to me to finally see Lucifer happy for a minute and it taken away for thousands and thousands of years in his time in Hell. I really enjoyed watching your Lucifer journey!!
One theory I heard is time works differently down there. Also Rory made him promise not to change anything, and if he had shown up during her childhood, it could have messed up everything.
I got to admit I've seen this final scene numerous times both watching the actual episode and seeing it in reaction videos, and yet I somehow kept missing the mug until you mentioned it. 😊
this is so weird because i was with you guys since the episode one like at the start of your channel really. and now i’m here for bly and i’m also on my Watch AGENTS OF SHIELD agenda!! because i love you discussions and that show definitely has a lot to discuss and its writing is on point with zero plotholes. anyway, happy FINALE!!!
Thank you guys for the reactions! You guys were consistent and fun to watch. Lucifer is my favorite show and I love the ending. I think time travel is trickier and bc Rori didn't want her future to be changed, he has to stay down south. Devil solving crime to a healer in hell, don't over think it lol Loved the concept of healer. Bitter sweet indeed.👿😇
You really did have a good run! It's been a pleasure watching along with you, hearing your gasps and laughs while reacting, and thoughts and discussions afterwards. I really appreciate all your love for the show and the wonderful characters. Thank you!
I've really enjoyed watching all your great reactions to this awesome show. Tuesdays just won't be the same anymore 😕 What you could do now is work your way through the bloopers to each season, that would be fun. One character I'd have liked to have seen again was Candy, she was adorable.
What a wonderfully emotional episode. The ending for each character was great. So many things you can analyze but I am just glad I was along for the awesome ride
May I suggest "Sandman" ? The show is really great+According to an interview with the showrunners Joe+Ildy Trixie did know since the beginning that Lucifer is really the devil, so she would not be surprised about all that
Two reasons Lucifer can't just commute to and from Hell: Amenadiel has all the other angels to help him out. To take care of things when he comes back to Earth to see Charlie, and to be a cop... But since time passes much faster in Hell. If lucifer comes back to Earth for a week, decades go by in Hell, maybe centuries! All the souls he could have helped will continue to suffer that much longer. That is why the situations are different. And, of course, he can't change the timeline otherwise Rory won't come back in time, and none of the reason he is saving people will happen the way it did.
Thanks for the fun, gents! I would love to see a Maze/Eve spin-off, with ocassional cameos from everyone still on Earth. I would also accept a spin-off of Lucifer and Chloe in Hell together, trying to therapy the damned and maybe teaching the demons how to do more therapy and less torture. LOL.
I really enjoyed you're reactions. Like always you'e funny and genuine, which is not always the case with reactors. I loved watching the last one with you. Cant wait to see more from you guys. Greets from Germany ;)
someone definitely may have mentioned this . but keep in mind , time in hell goes much faster. so if he just came to visit, years would go by in hell without him ....that would make him much less effective
He Couldn't change Any of Rory's experience or she would never have come back in time and Lucifer would never have gotten the whole idea to be the Healer
There's probably a lot of people who will never leave Hell though. Sociopathic and psychopathic personalities don't feel empathy, probably don't understand guilt. I don't think they make it to Heaven even in this world-setting. Considering that they probably won't experience it until they die...to understand it, then they'd eventually end up in Hell. But that's like a waiting period immediately after death. I have to assume that in their Hell loop, they are taught empathy.
Did they mention Jesus? Yes, indirectly. In an episode of season 4, when Lucifer is preventing a perp from escaping, he grabs the back of the guy's SUV and lifts it... when the guy realizes he's not going anywhere, he looks back and sees Lucifer lifting the back wheels off the ground, and exclaims, _"Jesus!"_ , and Lucifer quips, _"Not quite..."_ .
I have to thank you for the splendid ride. I found the show LUCIFER 6 weeks ago. Thought first that's a Horror-Serie. It's an amazing roler coaster. I love it. I want more of it. Hope it carries on some how. Greetings from all the way from germany. 🔥✨️💖🔥✨️💖🔥✨️💖🔥✨️💖🔥
thank you for the reactions, if you are looking for another series to watch, try Person of Interest, if you didnt see it - and trust me, you will after first season not have any idea where the show will be going :)
Who would have thought Hell need a therapist 😉... I wanted to reply to John that in 6x3 when Lucifer " helped" Jimmy Barnes with his mother you did indeed say something about Lucifer could save the damned souls in Hell; in 6x9 in the scene where Lucifer is dancing around & mixing that cocktail they show a To Do list and there was "catch up with Father Frank!" I'm going to miss your reactions to this show , loved all your theories about what's going to happen or not. It's been a wonderful journey ❣️ See you guys tomorrow with another reaction.
Y'all are awesome & I'm really going to miss watching you react to Lucifer. I watch just about every Lucifer reactor/reactors out there (and there's a lot) so when I say y'all are my top 4 that's definitely a compliment. I'm not sure I could pick a favorite among the 4 because you & the other 3 I'm thinking of are the only ones I remember your names, keep up with the things you mention about your lives and genuinely wish I could hang out & drink a beer with. Everyone else is fun to watch but y'all are more than fun to watch. I'm kinda bummed out now that that this ride is over. One day very soon I'm probably going to watch them all over again & maybe comment again now that I don't have to worry about spoilers. Lol love you guys & sending you both a massive virtual hug & my thanks for hours of enjoyment.
I think Lucifer can visit Chloe with out Rory knowing and Lucifer and Chloe told Trixie everything before Lucifer gone, so Lucifer can visit Chloe and Trixie behind Rory's back
Amenadiel has other Angels to swap jobs with. Lucifer does not. That is Lucifer's JOB. That is the way I took it, anyways. Great reactions, guys. And when Michael did kill a human, he was sent to Hell. Remember nthat Rory saw him there in the beginning of season 6. At no point did "Angels cannot kill humans" become Ok.
i disagree with the point about Dan (that he doesn´t need to be a bad cop), because that all led to the point, that he felt not to be a good rolemodel for trixie. I he would have been good all the time, than i don´t know if it would be "good enough" to feel that guilt to not be there anymore. The one thing i didn´t like is the kind of untold endling about Trixie . Especially they could have casted someone for the death scene of her mom..
I think there were behind the scenes photos of cut scenes at the death bed and it had an old Trixie, a young adult Charlie and a few others present, but it didn't screen well (because people were confused who everyone was) so they removed it. I figure, by now, Trixie is the President of Mars and already spoke with Chloe via video chat. ;)
Do you guys forgive Jerry now? 😂 I’m so happy you enjoyed this series, we subscribers got a kick out of all of reactions and commentary on this series. The issue with killing humans was God’s rule and after God left Michael started breaking all the rules. I believe Trixie knew the truth about Lucifer from the first episode. She always saw Lucifer as an angel even when she drew pictures of him and she saw Maze as she was and accepted her for who she was. Now that you completed Lucifer which is loosely based on the DC comic I hope you will react to the Sandman which is very comic book accurate which is where Lucifer first appeared. Tom Ellis didn’t reprise the role but I think you will find it very interesting. This show was completely different from Neil Gaiman’s comic. The only members of the core characters that exist in the comics were Lucifer, Mazikeen and Amenadiel however; Amenadiel from the comics looked and acted more Yuriel. Gabriel in the comics fills the role Amenadiel does in the tv series. Michael was not the same. There is one issue where God aka the Presence disappears and believed gone and Michael and the other angels were corrupted. Not to spoil but Lucifer figures out everything but I enjoyed that run. Please do yourselves a favor and watch the Sandman, Lucifer is not the main character but the show is a masterpiece. PS I thought you would have at least given Ella an honorable mention. Now I am telling Jerry on you.
I red somewhere that the girl next to Lindas ex husband in the last scene, is the bully from season 1, episode 1 when Lucifer met Trixie for the first time in her school
what a journey Guys! 93 episodes! wow! the evolution of Lucifer's character was amazing. I think it was a great ending to a great story. Personally, I would not have liked to see Chloe grow old next to an always young Lucifer, it would have lost the chemistry of the couple. It is clear that free will was only for humans, the celestials already had tasks / callings assigned in advance by God. Father Frank in S1, was right, God had a plan indeed!
If you guys are taking suggestions for a new series I'd go with Buffy the Vampire Slayer .. iconic + the overall length of it lends itself nicely to reactions. I get people want Supernatural but that's basically a no-go by the sheer length of it
Thank you, Boyz. Very nice reaction to the whole series and it's nice that you guys really took the time to talk about the episodes each time. That was really great and I like it much better than the usual 'Nice episode, the character development is impressive, and that one character was really important even if I forgot the name 5 minutes later' from other reactors, which is often quite annoying. In my opinion it was the best series since 'Battlestar Galactica', even if there was GoT and a few other series on almost the same level. But GoT, for example, was weaker in the last two seasons. So, last but not least, keep up the good work and have fun. 👍🤘😊 Edit: Oh, and btw the angels are quite capable of killing humans, but it was a commandment from God that they are forbidden to do so.
We got here! But, we want more. Does the story end? Lucifer has become a part of my life. To lose it now is very difficult. This is worse than the season 3 cancellation. We know Chloe, Lucifer, Trixie and Maze are gone. This is like saying good-bye to a friend who you know won't be coming back. No series, save Lucifer, has had this much of an impact on my life. Will there be another series that captivates like Lucifer? If so, let it happen before I pass.
I don't think angels found impossible to kill humans. I think they just had it forbidden. Michael did not perform a special fit because the people he killed had Amenediel's necklace, I think he just broke the rules because he is a jerk and that is why he ended in hell.
i feel like lucifer can’t come back because rory knew why he left in the future now and it already happened to her he left so he can’t come back because that would be breaking fate ? he might not have never got that idea if it weren’t for rory can’t fw the future
I do not find it right that from heaven (and also from hell) to earth there is a coming and going of angels / demons / dragons / elves, dwarves and dancers that seems to be the rush hour on the ring road, and the only one that cannot be move is just Lucifer. Holy shit ... 🤬 Anyway, a "thank you!" and "bravo!" to the entire cast (and whoever chose it). It has rarely happened to me to get attached to ALL the characters of a choral series. When there are many characters and actors involved, there is always someone out of place, someone not in part. But this is not the case. In "Lucifer" I loved everyone, even the negative characters, thanks to the professionalism of the actors who played them. Special mention also to the curators of the soundtrack, who precisely underlined every moment of each episode. A note of demerit for the writers of the detective cases, which I found unrealistic. But I understand that you can't have it all. Overall I promote "Lucifer" for the sympathy, empathy and skill of the cast, for the beauty of the characters, for the laughs I had (a lot) and the tears I shed (a lot) thanks to them. I think I will review the entire series in the original language, not dubbed in Italian. I will hardly understand anything about it but, shit, it will be a real pleasure to hear them act.
Sniff. Bye Lucifer Morningstar! - I also never understood why Lucifer couldn't have done both. Probably had something to do with the passage of time. Or: there are things between heaven and hell that cannot be explained. 😇 🌍😈
Your question: Why Angels can't kill humans. It's not that they can't, it's that it is forbidden by God's law. God was already gone to another realm when Michael dared to slay the young man, and later, Chloe.
I hate this ending with the fiery passion of a thousand suns. Time-loop stories are dumb and never convincing; plenty of sci-fi has time travel creating a split in reality or whatnot and could have easily had Lucifer stay in their life AND realize his purpose. Basically the message of this show is that Lucifer suffered for millions of years banished to Hell by his father and hated by his siblings, met Chloe and Linda and grew as a person, faced his painful thoughts, learned to be selfless...and his reward is to be forced to cause what he considers to be the worst kind of pain--abandonment and rejection by one's parent--to his daughter and miss raising her while he is again banished to Hell for hundreds of thousands of years away from his Love and the incredible life he made for himself. And I'm sorry, but maybe some people would call it a "blip," but I bet every day of being a single mom to TWO kids feels like ages. Ugh. Ugh ugh ugh. And finally, the fact that every "strong" character on this show suffered some major loss as of tragedy or abandonment is the only way to build character reallybothers me. Rory could have ended up bad ass being raised by BOTH parents, and Lucifer would have figured out his calling, as he had already started to. UGH.
Yeeeesss!!!! To all of this!!! I mean how would Rory have changed let's be real she was so much like Lucifer already without him in her life she wouldn't have changed just wouldn't have been forced to be miserable and angry!! What was a blip was the amount of time Lucifer and Chloe got to be happy together before he had to leave her to be a single mom the rest of her life!! All those lessons learned went through so much to end up back in Hell for thousands of years away from everyone he loved!! Bullshit hated it!! O and last thing your brother is God now how about come up with a solution with him like hey I came to the conclusion (that I was already starting to figure out myself by helping Mr. Said out bitch, jimmy Barnes, and Dan) with Chloe and Rory I need to be the healer of Hell.. can you make sure that happens and I don't lose that idea if I stay in my daughters and Chloe's lives.. thanks bro! And poor Trixie having lost her dad and then Lucifer too ug just ug!! Okay I'm done glad someone else was as displeased as I was. Still love the show just think they did Chloe and Lucifer dirty at the end there!
I still love the show, but I also hated the ending, for all of the reasons stated above. I thought it was sad that after all Lucifer went through to evolve as a "man" and to build a life for himself on earth with Chloe and the friends he made, he is forced back to hell to live for thousands of years alone without the woman he loves. And Chloe is forced to lived out her life alone without Lucifer. I don't think getting together in hell after she is dead makes up for all of that. And I really disliked Rory for forcing that choice on Lucifer. I believe he could have found his calling without giving up everything he had worked so hard to gain. For all of the fans that this ending disappointed, I wish they could go back and do an an alternate "what if" ending. What if Lucifer had stayed? What would have happened then? I don't expect they will do that, but I would love to see how everything would have played out if he had stayed on earth.
New story suggestion to take this one's place... "True Blood" Lucifer gave rory his WORD to not change anything from the way she remembered it. He doesn't have the ability to lie, so he had to stay gone. "Just a blip in our eternal existence"
I honestly thought Lucifer would die in an unexpected way, like getting taken out by a bad guy of the week that echoes the Pilot where Chloe almost die, except this time its Lucifer & he does die. I wasn't a big fan of this season to be honest. Should have left off with Season 5
THANK YOU to everyone who took the Lucifer journey with us!! It was our first reaction series and we loved every minute of it!! We hope you stick around with us as we continue watching much more!!

Agreed. However, I like to think Lucifer popped up now and then for some quality time with Chloe . . .
Amenadiel: "Yes! Wings!"

ahhh yes 😍
I've really enjoyed watching all your great reactions to this awesome show. Tuesdays just won't be the same anymore 😕 What you could do now is work your way through the bloopers to each season, that would be fun. One character I'd have liked to have seen again was Candy, she was adorable.
Thanks for an amazing ride guys! Greetings all the way from Montenegro 🇲🇪
I think it’s time to react to all the bloopers and gag reels 😂😁💪🏻
What a wonderfully emotional episode. The ending for each character was great. So many things you can analyze but I am just glad I was along for the awesome ride
Great reaction guys!; "Lucifer" is one of those series that i can watch over and over, such another that hope you can react too: "The Last Kingdom" :)
May I suggest "Sandman" ? The show is really great+According to an interview with the showrunners Joe+Ildy Trixie did know since the beginning that Lucifer is really the devil, so she would not be surprised about all that

Edit: Oh, and btw the angels are quite capable of killing humans, but it was a commandment from God that they are forbidden to do so.
I am a girl!
And my name is a combination of Mike Wozowski's name and the tea company in my country Vysotsky
Ahhh sorry about that!! Now that I see the picture I get it! haha - John
She is so pretty.
Anyway, a "thank you!" and "bravo!" to the entire cast (and whoever chose it).
Can you watch cobra kai
I don't expect they will do that, but I would love to see how everything would have played out if he had stayed on earth.
watch breaking bad and better caul saul
New story suggestion to take this one's place... "True Blood"
Lucifer gave rory his WORD to not change anything from the way she remembered it.
True Blood
