Been reading the forums on the 4CX800A / GU74B (Eimac & Svetlana versions) and other supposed replacement options (which seem incorrect). I am now more confused than when I started. Two questions. How does the single stock tube put out over 1K when it's rated for 600? Array Solutions sells the tube as New Old Stock for $300 (stiff price) with test sheets. The typical sheet shows max output at 525W. Are they any legitimate replacements that do not require modification to use?
