When everyone is a platinum dasher.... no one gets priority. It happened in my zone months ago.
I can chill for a week I'm cool with that.
Dasher Rewards went live in my market (Missoula, MT) today. I dashed from 6 AM - 10:30 AM, my typical shift.
I'm a platinum dasher. I accepted 11 of the 12 orders I received and did very well, both in terms of payout/hour and payout/mile.
Six of my 11 orders were shop-and-deliver orders, which I enjoy doing.
It did hit here in Waco Texas on Tuesday also. I Dashed on Tuesday and wasn’t really impressed but I’m always optimistic. Dashed on Wednesday and was very pleased it was good to see double digit offers again. As far as catering I’ve gone through the steps to have my bag verified hopefully I’ll hear something back shortly. I am a Part Time Dasher but my stats are good, currently my AR is 90% and deliveries are at 187 and my Customer rating is 4.99%. Looking for great opportunities with this new program. Wow! Awesome man! My area has been on Tier program since October ‘23. I have been Platinum since the middle of January and have NEVER received orders like you have today. Congrats man! My zone the best I’ve seen is $20 for 9 miles. I can count on 1 hand the amount of offers I’ve received over $15 since January. I’ve had 1 large order in that time frame and I got $20 for it. Anyway, awesome man!
I've been dashing part-time for a few months. I'm gold level with a 5🌟 rating and a 💯 acceptance rate.
You need 100 deliveries in a month’s time
I don't even try to shop Sephora. I grab a girl and say "I'm a man I don't have a clue." They love it and they are super fast. I am fairly popular there now.
You want to know what my first few days off platinum dashing was; $2. 00 - 3.50 deliveries; in other words I received and am still receiving, no peak pay during peak pay hours and no tip orders . Help me make sense of-this someone!
Try the Time pay, it doubles the pay usually, but not always, it still depends on the tip at the end but you can still calculate you time pay portion you get no matter what, plus any tip of course. Country pple usually tip better and appreciate it compared to in town pple who take it for granted.

I hit gold status recently and I just see orders sitting at McDonald's with no other dashers around. Seems they rather let orders sit up than give them to me smh.

So lucky I’ve had the platinum for the last month and a half…lucky if I see a two platinum orders in an 8 hour shift…my AR has always been 85 or above

It wasn't that great of a day in Henderson. Seeing that they gave everyone platinum makes sense now as to why. Lunch was horrible, the evening was OK...got a lot of stacked garbage orders. Heading out to dash now, hopefully it gets a little better.

Got slightly better orders but my area is so bad i still get mostly bad orders and extremely long wait times. As a platnum.
We have Dickeys in TX but true Texans don't eat BBQ from a strip center.
I had it once staying in Florida, it was dry ribs beans and potaoes I cda got anywhere.

This morning my first Dash as Platinum paid $39 and was followed by 3 $10-$15 orders
We won't see the real effects of the tier program until next week. Alot of people who lost access to scheduling have already scheduled their shifts for the week.
I just got to platinum today and my first offer after hitting the stat my first offer was for 26.50 for a run my first week was like 8.50. Worth the grind

Dasher Rewards went live in my current market (Murphy, NC) yesterday and I made into silver tier today, I'm so excited try the Birmingham, AL market in 4 weeks during my trip down there before moving there in October.

I complained about plat earlier taking 2-3 weeks to be good again but, I forgot every person had plat for a week, then probably a few kept it for maybe a week after, and now I'm getting bangers again after the non-hustlere fell off. So good I'm moving soon into a busier area I found.
Tuesday, May 7th we here in the DFW Texas market "The Colony" started the new tier program, and yes they gave everyone the 7 days at platinum dasher status. My stats are Platinum level already so after the 7 days, I won't be out of this tier. AR - 93% // CR - 100% // Cust Rate - 4.97 // On time - 97% and I am sitting at 3,878 lifetime del. That sandwich looks good!! You almost have to wake up super early for the week and go to bed early... so you can catch the good orders and keep the AR high... if not the offers they would usually send to the bad dasher you'll start getting them. I usually start at 7am and have monster catering orders tons of coffee and breakfast items for their employees. Somehow alot of business like to pay breakfast for their employees to start the working day right, maybe it's a smart investment. A++
I've been platinum since November 2023. We were one of the test areas. Our payouts are no where near what you make. I.do get better orders but I still get $2. $3. $4 orders. I usually decline. I live in Gettysburg PA area.
I was platinum my AR dropped to 62 really hard getting orders under 70. Once I get back up. Don't plan on dropping below 70 again.

Hey there! I'm in San Antonio. I started watching your videos back in November when I started dashing.
You and TravelJB inspired me to create my own channel - not sure if I'll actually post anything lol but it seems like doing this adds to the dashing experience for sure!
Anyway yes I believe everyone who swapped over to Dasher Rewards who had Top Dasher at the start of the month gets Platinum. I also noticed they re-drew the maps in my market as well, but that could be coincidence, I think they're always messing around with the map. I am noticing that my own zone is fairly gray since the swap-over so I haven't had a chance to go dash yet, as I do it more as a side hustle.
I do keep my stats up and I'm glad I found your videos before I started dashing - soooo many other creators were pushing that cherry-picking! But I have kept Top Dasher ever since I first experienced missing it after my first 2 weeks, being able to dash anytime was a pretty big deal for me.
I was wondering - I've heard you mention that peak pay is kinda bad - something about it means the zone is messed up or something. Can you expand on that?
Peak pay is showing the zone is expected to be saturated with more order than dashers, they turn it on to help push dashers out of others zones and bring them to the peak pay zones. Although peak pay doesn't mean the orders are going to be consistent, most drivers will chase peak pay zones tipping the saturation back to more drivers than orders. That's why when you've ever been in a peak pay zone it's slow. Too many people "pocket watching" the zone.

I didn't qualify for top Dasher for May so I don't know if all the dashers in Jacksonville Florida got platinum for 7 days right now I'm almost at silver but I use other apps

It might work in your market but where I'm at, the tier system sucks. I was always top dasher or diamond Dasher. Now I can't make any money.
I hope he is careful of crime and suspicious activity. Albany Ga has this issue all over the city.

here in Orlando I didn't feel that much of a difference. the feeling is that they just gave names to something that already existed (50%, 70% and top dasher now is silver, gold and platinum). let's see the next days
Exactly...it cant change the orders or dollar values so you just have to live wth it..at least you can dash whenever....so you adapt and work with that....
I used to get $70 tips for 1.8 miles away of catering order in downtown oakland when I worked at doordash
Just a reminder, first its not the month...you will go from platinum to gold once you don't meet the matrix...We did not get platinum status when it converted to the original dasher rewards, we didn't get to keep platinum if you fell below your rolling 100 in 30 days. Now in the Central Valley of CA, besides raising everything up by 10 percent, for platinum it went to a rolling 150 orders. The new flavor of dasher rewards DOES NOT have dash now. Regardless you get platinum for the week, you still need to keep up the rolling 100 in 30 days...So in 7 days when the auto platinum goes away, you better have done 100 deliveries or else. So on May 15th, you have to have done over 100 deliveries since April 15th of last month. To check where you are at, under ratings, you may need to scroll down, it will tell you how many deliveries you have done the past 30 days.
How could anyone not do 100 per month, 25 per week, if you need too AND KNOW IT, 3 a day...but ya it can happe of course if you dont know and its too close to the end of the month to get it, ALWAYS START AT THE BEGINNING OF THE MONTH TO GET A HUNDRED LOL, AND ACTUALLY YOU NEED 200 LIFETIME DASHES FOR TOP DASHER THATS NOW GONE OR THE NEW PLATINUM DASH NOW I THINK TOO

As a DD customer (not driver) I was wondering, I order from a restaurant 7-1/2 miles from my home. No traffic. I order $29 and put a $6 tip on my credit card. What does DD give the driver beyond the tip? I suspect the DD payment isn't too bad because my order was accepted quickly. Is my tip (20%) okay? Thanks.
Dd gives u $2 regardless of distance. The rule of thumb is $1 per miles from your house. Do if it's 7 ½ miles 7.50 would be good for any driver. So we will see $9.50 for 7.5 miles. That's only if the driver is literally the store already
@@SinCityDeliveries Thanks for your response. Is the $2 set in stone? DD doesn't give more than that? So my driver only got $8 for 7.5 miles? EDIT: as a customer I would have thought with my 20% tip and all the DD Delivery and Servicer Fees that they charge, they'd give the Dasher more than $2. I am shocked how cheap DD is.
@Robin-xt7yo correct. Dd calls it base pay, it may change from $2-2.25 the .25 is negligible to us.

I think it's bugged out. 2 days in as platinum dasher with 87% AR & my order volume has dropped by 50-60% AND tier 0 order quality

Sounds about right. The new tier system changes nothing. I have 28% AR and get $10+ orders all day. May get to 50% to get my scheduling back and take shifts from people again lol

Platinum blah blah I was Platinum this morning when I started working after denying two orders for $3 one for $2 I made went to Silver immediately went to Silver f*** this Platinum crap I've been with doordash for almost 3 years and I've been top Dasher almost all of those months this Platinum crap sucks I can't believe they're getting away with this I was Platinum this morning I got two orders for three and 350 then I got one for two bucks and of course I denied them because I drive a Jeep it does not benefit me to take a $3 order go in 8 MI so now I'm down to Silver just like that f*** this Platinum crap

Give it a week or two, while more dashers get on the Large Order Program, it will start slowing down
Yup. All it takes is a good % of your zone to be Platinum to kill the program. Orders have to get delivered. Platinum becomes moot and the trash starts coming your way to the point its not even worth maintaining a high AR.

Giving every top dasher platinum for 7 days regardless of their stats is a blow to the top drivers right now but it's alright. It will help influence some drivers to step their game up providing better customer service to the families ordering, in the long run those customer will order again giving us more opportunity. It's a win win 🏆

Its not just top dashers that get the trial because if you earned top dasher you are automatically platinum tier with 70% or higher but the fact that they give it to every single dasher in the market for 7 days is BS and yes they do this with every market that gets the program as well as if you are a new sign up in a market that has the Dashers Reward you will get to have platinum for 7days as well. I have never liked it but I understand I guess.

you can become a top dasher and then go below 70% or 50% and lose priority over high or higher paying offers, so you totally can be a top dasher with 8%

@@traviscarey3871 It sucks and that's on a good day. I came home for a few days while I get some stuff done here in Vegas and I am on the way back out to Cali in a couple days. I can`t handle this 115 degrees every day when I know the high in Carlsbad is 75 degrees. So Cal is great and I am seeing reports that Seattle is crushing it also.

I havent been on app in months over 6000 deliveries and i got on and im gold and its saying i have to get over 100 DELIVERIES to get platinum but im not getting any orders from 6 to 1:30 i only made 50 bucks and im in the bay area east bay oakland area whats going on can you explain and i except every orderz
I absolutely hate the new program I had a 98% acceptance rate and now it's showing 43% I had a 4.85 customer service rating now it's showing 4.75 and I had 206 lifetime deliveries in it showing 53 so now I'm afraid I'm going to get horrible deliveries I'm super upset

Actually 11 minutes from Arival. I ran my AR up to 100%. We call it the Snoop Dogg rule. Drop it like its Hoooot!!
When Dasher Rewards came to my market (Omaha, NE) they did not give every Top Dasher Platinum for a week. I instantly started in Gold because I had 97 (I was so pissed) orders in the last 30 days.
