    Can you do a video about transplant shock and how to prevent them? Especially when transfering from store pot and also the ones rooted in water.

    • @MrHouseplant

      Most houseplants do not go through a transplant shock. Some do, like oxalis, or peace lilies, but most houseplants are actually fine, even with root pruning. They might stop growing for a while, but a lot of them won't have visible transplant shock :) As for transitioning plants from water to soil, ideally you should pot them once the roots are 1-2 inches long. If they spend too long in water, it might be more difficult for them to transition to soil

    Hey! I was just wondering how long roughly do they take to grow? I've had mine for many months now and it's only a little longer. Is there anything I can do to help it? :) Thank you!

    What if it grows small pearls? My SOP is fine but the pearls are too tiny.

    • @MrHouseplant
      @MrHouseplant  2 роки тому

      There could be multiple reasons for the pearls growing small - not enough light, or not enough water that would allow the cells to expand to their full size, could be root bound...
