We make it down to Port Lincoln in South Australia and fall in love with this awesome town on the Eyre Peninsula. We tick off a major item on our bucket list: snorkelling with sea lions! Plus find a bunch of hidden gems and secluded beaches that leave us blown away! What a spot to stop on our big lap of Australia!
In this video we:
- Arrive to Port Lincoln in South Australia on the Eyre Peninsula
- Swim with sea lions at Blyth Island!
- Visit the secluded and private beach known as Memory Cove
- Find more hidden gems around Port Lincoln, including Fishery Bay
- Head out to the Lincoln National Park to spend a few days camping there at Fishermans Point
- Test out our new Christmas present; an inflatable SUP!

Yeah we have a fair share of crappy weather days, instead of filming we usually edit or work on those days. We have a pretty good balance that way 😊🙌🏼

We spend 3 months all up in SA, there are still 2 more videos to come on the west coast of the Eyre. For us we have just crossed into WA, we keep a little behind on videos for security reasons & the videos take a little time to edit 👍🏼

Gday Ron, it was a great experience & well worth the $$$ in our opinion. No not as yet, unfortunately BCF won’t exchange it without seeing it and the distance between BCFs here is 2300kms. Not a ideal!!

Noice vid... what happened to the leaking Paddlebopard?
She has to be dragged 2400kms across the Nullarbor for BCF to have a look at it and verify it’s broken. Still in the back of the ute getting multiple top ups per use 😅

We are at Billy's lighthouse campground at the moment making our way to the York peninsula from WA. Any good spots on the York? We got some amazing big squid of the jetty at Elliston
Hi Tracy! Loved Port Lincoln and that boat ramp site is pretty great considering its low cost and proximity to town/NP. We didn’t spend all that much time on the east coast, though when the wind is down Point Lowly was magical (shown in our previous vid) and Port Gibbon is another good one with plenty of sites on the cliffs there 😊

You are game on the paddle board in white pointer country 😵💫😵💫🫣🫣 we camped at Memory Cove in 2015 and saw a large shark cruising about 150m off the beach
Yeah we’ve heard it’s pretty sharky around this area! Like anything in the water there’s always the risk but I think we are pretty sensible to try minimise that. I almost went crayfishing with a local I met, that would’ve been next level sharky!! 😳🦈
