@@vultdeepwoken To be honest, if you can't beat silentheart, I don't see why one would be worthy of joining the guild. Silentheart is the perfect opponent for a trial of skill, since they have no mixups. It really shows the basic awareness and how focused the person attempting the tryout is. I'm entirely on your side.
this build is so unbelievably easy to play
the purpose of some tryouts is not to see which build is the best, but rather to see how well you can handle a brainless build against you, since the results can be given in bars dmg and not wins or loses

The build he's using is excellent at testing players ability to parry normal m1's with some SH mix ups. If you can't even parry trade with someone who's essentially only using m1's then your obviously not fit for the guild. Silent Heart with Shattered is not a "metamance" build 💀😭
Is a hard counter to mages tho.

yeah, this is pre nerf when you could throw it out mid range, not get punished for it and basically get a free combo starter / chip dmg
deffered would be crazy with this
the harder you combo them, the faster they die (i run deffered)
But that applies to everything harder combo -> faster kill

How does the shattered Katanas second crit proc if you didn’t land the first part? like the first two small swings then the big ones later on
the 2nd crit still procs even tho u dodge it or block it, only parrying will stop the 2nd crit

That build is so op and it angers me that you're using it incorrectly, you can proc bubbles and use posers ring right before they hit so that the opponent can't parry them

Shattered tears of edenkite? You miss 1 parry of the first crit and u get the orbs then use posers to stun the enemy so they cant parry, dodge, or block it. In what world is that fair? And hes using Silent which increases its dmg.
And we're just going to ignore the fact that every element has upwards of 2 to 4 blockbreakers and infinite mixup potential? Silenthearts have such predictable mixups you have to be pretty bad to not see them coming. If it were silentheart rifle then id say its a lot harder to fight, but hes a shattered. @@Zushii2

@@Hawks4141 all silent heart is is just mixups, every move can be used as a mixup and all of the moves together fully counter mantra builds.
@mistix-4936 Yeah, silent heart has 2 moves that can be mixups that's why I said 2 mixups. Aside from that, it has zero guard breaking moves. Closest is mani katti which does above avg posture damage and isn't a reliable guard break
