OpTic Scump: The Greatest Call of Duty Player Ever
Optic Scump is known as one of the greatest Call of Duty players of all time, but he recently retired from professional Call of Duty. Scump has won over 30 championships, and he grew his UA-cam channel and Twitch account a lot through casual Call of Duty pub stomping videos. Optic Scump started off posting Modern Warfare 3 and Black Ops 2, and he joined Optic Gaming in 2012. He was a part of Optic Gaming for a very long time, winning tournaments with NadeShot, but when NadeShot retired from professional Call of Duty in 2015, Scump was announced as the new captain of Optic. Scump was growing his UA-cam channel a lot through Black Ops 3 content, and his videos were averaging over 400,000 views. Moving forward into 2019, Scump said on twitter that he was leaving Optic Gaming, and he would eventually join Chicago Huntsmen for the 2020 pro season. Chicago Huntsmen would rebrand to Optic Chicago though, and soon after that, Optic Chicago and Envy Gaming decided to merge together, forming Optic Texas. Scump chose to retire a few weeks back, and everyone was sad to see such an iconic Call of Duty player call it quits.
