I love how swanny was asking the hard questions that bring so much controversy. I felt he really wanted to get more out of Joe on when he spoke about God, and when Joe said he was born Gay etc. Glad he was asking the hard questions that most people are afraid to ask because let's be honest talking about God and being gay are 2 topics that can get quite heated if you're not open minded and accepting. Fave ep yet 🙌

It's so important to have people with different views from the same culture talking to each other and welcoming one another's perspectives. Really helps to clear any bad air and gives each side an education of the others' views. Much love boys 💞

Firstly, I commend you guys on creating a safe space, as someone who grew up surrounded by dominate straight male family & friends, trying to explain the love, understanding & acceptance I recieved is known to be rare but to see how open and accepting you all were is a testiment to our polynesian men who are comfortable within themself, show respect and can still stand by their own beliefs without standing on or bringing someone else down, much respect.
Secondly, Joe ate !!!! 🙌🏾 such a genuine guy, persona or not, you can see and feel the genuiness he puts out to the world

I know I'm late but I found Joe 2 years ago and that day changed my life. As a lesbian its hard to fully be myself even around my family. Its so hard to unlearn my beliefs about Christianity. Joe thankyou thankyou thankyou. I was suicidal 2 years ago before I found you. I hit such a low point in my life with accepting myself. I felt so alone. But as another Pasifika Lgbt member I thankyou all for this podcast. ❤

It’s very easy to want to sway or downplay your opinions just to keep the peace and not step on toes but open and honest conversation help people to be more tolerant of different views. And we all have to peacefully coexist so we need to be more tolerant 💀😂
