Even with the "reunification" (more like invasion) many were not happy of that, even the same Piedmontese weren't happy of those wars. Italians are divided linguistically and still today there is the division between the North and the South.
As an integral Catholic I tell you that the Papal State must be independent from the secular authority so that it may operate freely, I condemn the invasion of the Papal State by the Freemasons of the Kingdom of "Italy".

Maybe today Italy would not be like this. We had a lot of good politicians in the 50s, 60s and 70s, but everything started to change from the 80s. This country has fallen deeper and deeper into chaos and today Italians lives very bad because of bad politicians and bad politics.

Mussolini was an idiot for being Hitler's ally - Italy should have either stayed neutral or joined the Allies instead.
The allies were no friends of Mussolini. He could have stayed neutral, but then he risked being attacked by one side or the other.

That's simply false (that happens when you copy paste from wikipedia). Marriage between Italians and Ethiopians was banned in 1937, but it was simply a ban on marriage (only enacted in Ethiopia) for security purposes. It did not call for racial segregation.
