Thank you for tuning into our first Croatia travel vlog - we are so excited to show you more as we travel Croatia for the next few weeks! :) what would you like to see (more of) in our videos as we drive to Turkey? 😏
Croatia is definitely the best travel value in Europe, yes, all of Europe. Costs are super low for the quality which is about like Italy at a fraction of the price. And the coastal regions are incredible. It's like the Taiwan of Europe. I am surprised you being Europeans would not know about Croatia.
One of my favorite summers was spent travelling through Croatia. I highly recommend sailing through the islands between Split and Dubrovnik if you can find a way to do it! So many beautiful and varied islands from pristine nature reserves to historical sites to party islands.
@@NaickKim Croatia has been one of the favorite European countries for Taiwanese in last decade. We visited Dubrovnik, split,Trogir,Zadar ,Plitvicka jezera, and detour to kotor,Ljubljana.Since Asian people are not big fan of beaches and sunshine,we skip the hvar and the small island along the coast. Can’t wait to watch your Croatia vlog.
Ye. Stay longer in Croatia. I was there for only a few days but there must be much to see from north to south. In the last few hours I was in the capital (before sunrise), I decided to take a cab to the national cemetery, Mirogoj to just take a stroll in the burial place with plenty of interesting monuments and tombstones. The drive along the Adriatic sea is also absolutely wonderful.
Thanks for you videos. They are great. Croatia 🇭🇷 is such a great place, you have so much to see, eat and drink. You need to taste the grappa liquor They make. Looking forward to lots of great videos from Croatia. Make sure to visit Split and Hvar.
You guys are so cute, at first I thought you were americans until I read your bio!!! I have to subscribe to your channel as I'm going to Croatia next month if they still open for tourism!
Hi Gisele, We are indeed from Belgium and have been traveling the world for more than 2 years. At the moment Croatia is indeed open for tourism. I recently got a message from Americans who are in Montenegro right now and also did a day trip to Croatia, so it seems possible. Best to properly check to be sure though. Thanks a lot ❤❤
I was in Croatia there years ago! It was really beautiful with all the natural And historic wonders. By the way, just a head up, Croatians drive really really fast on the highway. 😂 Enjoy!
@@NaickKim i love that u are here and i will tell u something hvala vam is pronounced with h and dalmatia= slanina panceta pig Banovina is zagreb and other towns and u need to try all the specialties!
I'm sure you would have loved Croatia anytime, but especially after leaving a cold and expensive country like Switzerland, it must seem like heaven! (Although I know Switzerland is beautiful!) I'm so excited because you're going to a lot of places that are on my 2022 itinerary, so I can test your experiences.
@@NaickKim I'm starting January 2, 2022 (I retire December 31st) for 4 months around Asia, then Europe for 3 months. Starting probably in Georgia or Croatia and then to Bosnia-Herzegovina, Macedonia, Albania, Slovenia, Hungary, etc. Then to Marrakesh before visiting family & friends in Lille, Paris, Nice, Spain, and Sweden, ending at a Bastille Day celebration at my French cousins' country home. I'M SO EXCITED!
Nice to see you're in my country☺️ Greetings from Zagreb! Make sure you try some food native to Croatia like "Štrukli" , Zagreb schnitzel "Zagrebački" and desserts like "Orehnjača"(walnut roll), "Međimurska gibanica" and "Kremšnita"(something like a custard cake) 😁
@@NaickKim Yes I do. A small and quiet town, that is near to Zagreb and Slovenia. If you like nature and peace, you could enjoy yourself in this town. Thanks for visiting :-)
I am so glad Naick and Kim that you love Croatia. It is one of my dream destination. Excited for the next video on the Croatian food tour. Keep safe always!
Looking forward to seeing your next vlog. The Covid-19 cases are way down in Dallas area and vaccines are available for all adults. Wonder what the general conditions are in Europe? Cheers.
In general cases are on the rise in pretty much all countries and vaccines are not available. I think only about 10% of the people have had their first vaccine yet. Vaccine deliveries are really lacking and it's not looking great at the moment.
@@NaickKim unbelievable. Us has ample vaccine shots and pretty much whoever wants to get shots got shots. My wife and I had our 2nd shots on Feb 24th and our kids got theirs last week. Hope you guys stay safe and have fun in Turkey.
Border crossing went very smooth. In Slovenia they just let us ride through when we said we were going to Croatia. In Croatia they checked our passport and the required negative covid test and let us in. Took a bit of queuing, but not very long. Maybe 15-30 mins.
@@NaickKim thank you so much! We live in USA, but We have our motorhome parked in Portugal and we want to travel this summer and bring it back to Poland where my husband is from. Safe travels in Turkey.
You need it to enter Croatia. You also need a form completed for Austria that you are just passing through and you need evidence that you are going to another country (like a reservation). Nobody asked us as the Austrian border though, but I'd still recommend having it just to be sure.
@@carobru1 From before 2 day you can enter in Croatia with: PCR test or rapid antigen test or evidence in vaccination (even with Russian and Chinas vaccine) or if you have proof that got over the covid inside the last 180 days. now its easier to enter in Croatia than before 2 days, thats because the tourist season is near, summer. Happy journey ! :)

Cappadocia Limestone Fairy Chimneys!
Bebek, along the Bosphorus Bay!
Beyoglu district in Istanbul!
Stay there as long as possible. For me is Kroatien a synonym for vacation. I want to enjoy...
I guess you could drop by some places in Serbia and Bulgaria (if possible) en route to your destination.
