Every game so far had the animatronics actually the good characters towards kids at least, Roxy broke control so the others could too. Okay, so... Freddy has Gregory, Roxy has Cassie... can Chica, Sun and Moon, and Monty have their own children buddies too? Seeing the animatronics friendly like this is very wholesome. And as a daycare teacher myself, I've fallen in love with this version of Sun and Moon. It would be very sweet if that, even though being the Daycare Attendant, they had a favorite child that they would protect and have a soft-spot for, more than the other kids. And even if Moon is a little mean, even he is more gentle with.

Still convinced canon Gregory was just a little psychopath. He never hesitated to destroy and dismantle the animantronics, and then would turn around and lie to or gaslight Freddy about how he had no choice.
I think even if this was how it worked in the game it would be more on brand for the daycare attend to just actually malfunctioning, perfectly safe as long as the lights are on but something is wrong with his personality matrix or whatever and the night attendant is violent
