Im from Sydney Australia and I'd love a shirt, Also I have learned a great deal of stuff about body work from your channel. So thanks for the informative videos, keep them coming.
Most fun car I ever drove was my 1987 MKIII Supra that I did a 2jZ single turbo swap to back in 2000 while in college. Took an Aristo front clip I gave all my cash to some guy on eBay. This was before UA-cam or translated forums, so I had to use all the years of Japanese I studied to create a wiring harness from scratch. Car turned on first try, and was a blast to drive every single day. Sold it when I moved to NYC to some kid in Wyoming that destroyed the car on his first drive by not latching the hood shut. Since then I've been building custom cars, trucks and bikes in my spare time. Glad kids and adults have channels like this now to inspire them with confidence to tackle any project!
The most fun car I ever drove was a client's car.. He requested I follow him home after working on it as he was driving his wife's car.. It was his fully track prepped supercharged track prepped C5 Z06.. This was about 15 years ago when modifying cars was significantly more difficult... We drove for about 30 minutes with dropping below 140 mph.
My favorite car that I've ever driven is my buddy's 944 just due to the backstory of it. He got it for free over 10 years ago from one of our friends neighbors. He helped the neighbor jump start it one day and noticed the steering wheel in it. After helping the owner get it started he asked if he could buy the steering wheel since it appears to be an optioned component / custom addition to the vehicle. The owner told him to come back the next day and when he did, the owner threw him the keys. Mind you, this thing was neglected, covered in moss and filled with dog hair. It was in a poor state, but it had potential and it was free! My buddy completely overhauled it and turned it into one of the nicest examples of a 944 that I've seen in person. He definitely brought it back to it's former glory. Since then, he's swapped the motor, sourced a few rare, era-specific parts, modified coilovers to fit and turned it into a real gem. This thing handles like it's on rails and its so cool to rip on something older than me that feels like you're an inch off the ground. Especially when you're hitting PA backroads. It feels like a "choose-your-destination" roller coaster!
The most fun thing I ever drove was an RX-8 at a driving school thing. Honestly I have a bit of regret with that. It was many years later that I fell in love with rotary engines, and at the time, I had no clue I was driving a car I would end up falling in love with years later. I'll get another chance some day, I'm sure.
I've driven tons of pretty cool vehicles but the most fun by far was my buddy's 57 Chevy panel truck on a lifted 76 Blazer frame. We called it Dig Dug as a reference to the Grave Digger comments everywhere we went.
The most fun car I’ve had driving a car was one winter driving a ‘78 Toyota Tercel in the snow. Limited traction, rear wheel drive and no power. The perfect “drive a slow car at 10/10ths” idea.
The funnest vehicle I ever drove, has to be my 99 Saab 9-3 Convertible. It’s a total sleeper that is all raced out. It isn’t particularly fast, but it pushes 20 lbs of boost and makes it really fun at high speeds..
I'm from Canada (but would gladly pick up that welder in Champlain NY), and my favorite car I’ve ever driven is my 1987 16v VW Scirocco 2.1 L with DCOE webber carbs and race suspension, a real go cart.
Watching from Portugal! Despite not being required i will tell you the most fun car I've ever driven. It is my gokart, i built it my self with a cbr600 engine, nothing compares to that!! Burns tyres in every gear!! cheers.
Most fun vehicle I’ve driven was an automatic Volvo V60 estate hire car. It had all the toys and made driving across the highlands of Scotland (where I’m based!) a total breeze allowing us to take in all the sights and enjoy the drive for the pleasure of the drive - journey before destination!
Another great post. The progress is moving a lot faster than expected with that amount of work. My favorite car I’ve ever driven is my 77 bay window bus, it’s a bucket but still love to drive it. Don’t know what it is but just love it.
Brilliant instructions. Helps a me a lot. I am planning adding flare to my 1971 Porsche 911. This is great. My favorite car that I ever drove is a 1967 912. Cheers
Commenting in for one of those sweet teeshirts. I'm Mark from Wiltshire in the UK. It's fun to watch your excellent sheet metalworking methods on some great cars. 😊
Thanks for the videos, and the opportunity to learn from a craftsman. Favorite car to drive, was Mk2 Zephyr, although once I have completed my current project of 1954 International Harvester coupe, I'm sure this will be my favorite. Cheers from New Zealand.
I love the attention to detail you guys place on making these cars correct as well as making sure your craftsmanship is above excellent. The most fun car I have ever had the opportunity to drive was a friend of mine's 1991 turbo Toyota Supra. It had a 2JZ swap and was set up for drag racing.
My most fun car to drive ever is a tie between my current (2003 Porsche C4S) and a 1969 Mustang Mach 1. The Mustang was a show car that was actually in Hot Rod magazine in the late 70s. It belonged to a friend of my dad's and he let me "borrow it" for a week. That thing could spin the tires in every gear and had an incredible custom paint job in root beer brown with flowing stripes, kind of like your 996 slantnose stripes. It got a lot of attention anywhere I drove is and was pretty amazing for a kid in his teens to be driving.
Nothing better than a widebody 911! My favorite car I've driven was my Jeep Comanche I had back in high school. Gave me my first experience of driving a manual transmission.
Nice job navigating around that fender brace. Years ago, I built a lowered 1988 V8 Ford Ranger that included a Tremec 5 speed, coil over front suspension and 4 wheel disc brakes. This truck was a blast to drive. Thanks for asking...brought back great memories pondering your question.
The MOST fun car I've driven is a Porsche 914 that I put a 400hp V8 into. It was as much fun building it as it was to drive. Not nearly as tough to build as your builds, but very satisfying for a garage build guy!.
This car looks like it's gonna be a lot of fun to drive, haha!! The most fun I ever had driving a car, the car that broke my heart when I sold it, the car I think about most often is my 1959 VW bug, named it Bronson. Miss that dumb thing so much....
I had an '86 VW Scirocco that was an absolute blast to drive. It was stopped down to a dash and front seats, and had a 16v swap. I bought it for $400. Funnest city car ever. Thanks for the shirt!!! You guys do quality work 😉.
My fav ride was bringing my 73 Porsche 914-4 back to Seattle from Las Vegas. I had a dash fire the day before I left for home. No charging , or gauges. Had to stop and charge the battery several times to keep the FI working. I would crawl up the hills on I-5 thru NorCal and then coast downhill as fast as possible, passing the cars that had passed me on the way up. I used my Garmin to keep track of mileage for fuel stops. Crazy ride, but I made it.
Loving this new project! I’ve driven some really cool cars but the most fun for me was driving my Dads 68 Dodge Charger. It’s a riot to drive and brought back a ton of fun memories of riding in it as a kid and doing muscle car shenanigans with him.
The most fun vehicle I’ve ever driven was my 1991 Acura NSX. It wasn’t the fastest car in the world it handled amazing on the back roads of New England.
The most fun car I've driven was a BMW 2002. The engine purred like a sewing machine and the steering was so nice all you had to do is think and the car would respond.
My favorite car was my fathers ‘87 911. This is what got me interested in racing and building cars. When I was able to drive, I modified mk1 vw’s and told myself I will one day own an air cooled 911 but unfortunately prices have skyrocketed.
My favorite car I ever drove was my dads 993 race car. He built it from welding two wrecked 993’s together. Best memory in the car was driving it around the paddock at Road America when I was 14-15… had to stop on a steep hill and a real* Shelby Daytona stopped right behind me on the hill (he didn’t know a 14 year old was driving in front of him). Holy hell was I nervous about that roll back! But no I didn’t roll back into a million dollar car and I didn’t stall it!
The favorite car I've ever driven was a Modded dune buggy with milk crates for seats that I took on a dirt bike course, lol. Although, I love my 2018 Audi RS5 on the street/track. Keep up the awesome content, you guys are killing it!
Greetings from Canada, EH? Been following along on Instagram for a while, newer UA-cam Subscriber. As far as "the most fun car I've driven" - tough to say! Driven a few cool Porshes, bit I think "the most fun" would be Bisi Ezerioha's EV converted Porsche 935, that thing was a blast. The most fun I've had driving would be my '94 911 I drove from Canada down to Luftgekhult 4, and went and did some canyon runs with the locals.

I’m liking the orca look this 911 has going on.
The most fun ive had driving was learning to drive manual in my dads 1958 vw bus at 14! Now I have my own vw bus and multiple other projects.

The most fun car I've ever driven would have to be my FD rx7. It was always a great day when I got a chance to drive.
The car that has been the most fun to drive is our 93 MR2 Turbo it’s been a blast to drive since the first day we bought it.

Hard to beat that experience
