Katie how many times during Abis performances did Katie say if you think you're favorite is safe they're not. She ONLY did that with Abi cause Katie wanted Abi to win. Abi just performed, Abi fans are watching intensely, and you say that to Abis fans. She said after Oceans, Abi was her favorite along with MILLIONS OF Americans. Special bond between Katie and Abi you can tell. I could see Abi warming up Katie on her next tour. How cool would that be 🤯🤯🤯

@@ryanciani3324 Still, she ONLY got to perform half the song. For an the $$$ she made Idol based on ratings, cause Abi was the ONLY reason I was watching this year. She was the ONLY singer I cared for and from what i've read I wasnt the only one. For her to ONLY get to sing half her new single REALLY ticked me off. Fans were commenting like that's it, man that's short and SHITTY what Idol did to her. NOBODY will convince me otherwise 😤

I didn't even follow the show I just followed her every week. I knew she was gonna win. Something about her voice. I wanted to hear what she would do next. I really like her voice!
I'm with you. IF Abi had not been on the show I would NOT have watched it. Abi in my opinion was SUPERIOR to the rest of the singers who were all average at best. I mean they're good singers just not someone I cared to watch. Abi was INCREDIBLE from her audition on 😋
@@bradcrawford1998 SAME. It's her sweet buttery tone that did it for me. Others had great voices, even powerhouse voices. but her tone was on another level. She made others' songs sound different when every other contestant sang it just like the original singers. That's the true sign of an artist.

I was all for Abi and wanted her to win. However one thing really bugged me about last night. To have Billie Eilish give an endorsement on video for her before voting was so unfair to Mosley. That most certainly resulted in influencing some votes. American Idol producers should have never done that. That was such an amateur decision and really F'd over Mosley.

How do they decide on the winners final performance. They used to do their debut single as the winning song. Her's was This isn't Over.
The Audio quality difference between watching Abi Carter on an America Idol Offical clip on UA-cam is MASSIVE...wow..
She was very fortunate to win Idol for the publicity purpose and fans, but the real contest starts now. She is not (at least at this moment and im being nice here) a contender in the industry with what she showed the whole show. IMHO, she didnt truly improve on what ppl complained about the most. Improving for Idols showrunner is meh. Even then, she still like you saw did a cringe job. Nobody is truly being honest with themselves...you hear those awful noises in the background of all her songs. Its her voice. Hopeful now she gets the coaches she needs and we will see her ability to adapt to a much realer world of music unlike Idol.
Don't know what your audio quality was....I had to watch clips on my phone from someone other than idol channel and the quality made me think it was her....then I watched on my home theater....omg, what a difference! The phone was not able to repeat the frequency range properly. Watching on my HT she sounded like she has all season... near perfection. I think she will have as big a career as Kelly or Carrie....and probably bigger. No matter, It will be fun to watch her as she is a delight to root for.

I disagree with all of you. McKenna was the best performer of all with the strongest voice of all. She went on stage even though was sick with a cold. It didn't stop her. She used no gimmicks

I said at the beginning of the season, when I heard Abi's audition, that she's going to win.
She was by far, the best of them all.
While I think the right choice was made, I don't think Abi is on the same level as Carrie Underwood, Kelly Clarkson, Jennifer Hudson, or Adam Lambert. But I do think she's good. JMO.

That was BS. Her new single is 3 minutes long which is a short song in itself, and she ONLY got to sing one verse. I timed it, 1 minute 15 seconds they gave her to sing 😤 Totally ruined the moment for me. I love that song and was looking forward to her singing it.
