I'm glad you started with 2005, that was my senior year, and my favorite game design. I liked how A) The game got harder the better the teams were (the goals got higher) and B) The strategy was always changing (to make a row, you had to scan the field for the next way to make a row). Just a cool design I think they will never replicate.
A really cool robot for 2017 was Stryke Force (2767), I never saw how they did it, but they were able to drive over the gears while crossing the field, and the gear would be ready to score at the other side. The only robot I have ever seen use the bottom of their robot effectively.

This was a really interesting watch, gave me a lot of ideas on where to start after the game is revealed this season

This year was very hard to scout. At Michigan dcmp, there were only stands on one side of the field, so you couldn’t scout the red alliance unless you were on the far right 10’ of the stands.

Very useful video, but the desync between the main presentation image and the picture-in-picture makes it much harder to follow.

Thank you for the feedback, and we are glad you found the video useful! We are looking into editing the video to fix the desync with the presentation image. We have also modified our equipment arrangement to prevent the desync issue in future presentations.

Gave me lots of ideas and hopes that next year will be quite good (Disney's back baby!) But I have to disagree with the closing comment on this year's game. From a students perspective, which i am, this game was a joy to design for. Somewhat simple, sure, but the amount of creativity available as far as controlling the game piece and robot diversity overall was amazing! That's just my opinion tho. Great vid!

This presentation is mostly about strategy. Design is always fun, I had fun designing for 2015 cause that's when I became a leader on my team and got more involved. Plus my team got to go to champs! Doesn't mean 2015 was a good game though.
