Detailed design is being tendered beginning of this year so construction should start sometime around the end of 2019 or beginning of 2020 with completion due in 2022

The part shown in video is due to happen, it’s part 1, called takitumu north link. Part 2 is loop road to omokoroa road, that last month has been said to not happen for at least 10 years
