March 27th, 2022. Wow. We were tired of covid in the 15th week. Unbelievable. God bless you all. Be patient my friends. This has been a lesson for believers. Are we there yet?
Saddleback and Rick and Kay have been my home church and pastors from a distance as I live in Minnesota. Thank you SO MUCH for obeying God’s call in your lives and ministering to us! ❤️
31:28 - What is that running in the field to the right of Pastor Rick? This sermon was wonderfully useful and comforting. Remembering all the times God came through helps. God's faithfulness is reassuring. Thank You God for your mercy and grace. We love You Lord Jesus. Amen.
I love your sincerity and clear way of speaking. I’ve been having a problem with anger and damaging relationships with my tongue. I feel so humbled and blessed today that I can be put in my place with love and grace when I don’t extend the same courtesy to others. God is so good and I feel so loved because I know I am so undeserving. You nailed it when you say anger makes us dumb. I see it all the time, you can watch a fuzzy cuddly little cat video online and somehow the comments will end up having a couple of hot heads finding something offensive about it. The two will get so irritate the more they argue the dumber it gets and you can see the longer it goes on the typos and misspellings and insults gradually go down to an angry five year old level. Thank you 🙏 for sharing your knowledge and wisdom, I feel a special peace in my heart today. We love you too Rick!
As always, Pastor Rick, thank you for bringing God’s hope and promises to us. I am praying for your family and your team during this pandemic. I pray that the staff members that are ill will soon be restored to their former good health. I also pray that more people than ever will come to develop a relationship with God as a result of your work.
Most of the times, I really don't feel like waiting but God is so gracious for reminding me always that waiting for His perfect time is indeed beautiful. God bless you Pastor Rick Warren
Imagine 'being in a hurry while God isn't' which is almost the case for most of us! Let's learn to wait patiently in all situations, for in due course God does come through for us.
Pastor Rick, I love your message. I am currently waiting for many things to take place: I am again to singleness after a 2-year-long courting relationship; I am living with a salary reduction for many months while working full time; I am waiting for God to transform me... This message is needed. I love you saying that we wait expectantly and confidently... Thank you for the prayers at the end of the video.
this is so well said. such a simple yet powerful message. i love many pastors but sometimes its hard to absorb information when religious leaders are screaming in passion. i prefer simple messages. tysm 💜 God bless you.
Thank you for this encouraging word pastor and thank you for always addressing difficult issues with such poise and in an articulate way. You are prepared to touch on topics which other people may not be prepared to for the sake of the gospel. May God bless you richly and thank you.
I feel like God is speaking to me directly about many weaknesses I've been struggling with as a believer, behaviors I need to address in each one of your faith messages of this series. Thank you.
Thank you for the message first. Especially while I am waiting, God is working... I just have been forgetten the words so far but, from now on, live with it for the rest of my life.
Pastor Rick! Gracious brother " I know you rather be called Rick; but I listen to you every day almost and for years now..that make you in my book my pastor ( I hear your voice and fallows you because the truth is in you!!! Thanks for being with us during this time and not giving up!!!
Job did win the superbowl of suffering & no explanation - I feel better aready - my Life is Great !!!!!! Truly thank you Rick - God Bless you and your family.
Bless You for this vitally important message, Pastor Rick! It's one so many need to hear, especially during these troubled times. I feel I do wait patiently quite well. But, after listening to this teaching, I find that I don't do as good of a job waiting Expectantly and waiting Confidently. From now on, I will make sure I do All Three with equal faith and vigor!
I've been waiting for full healing of my chronic pain health issue, it's been 31 + months. I'm grateful that God has healed part of this issue! I am waiting confidently that He will continue this work!

Waiting, praying, taking my prudent chances to finally meet my husband. THIS MESSAGE IS SO IMPORTANT...! Thank you, so much, Pastor Rick. Could I ask you to please keep me in mind if you know a single godly man in his thirties- early forties :) ?
Awesome Explanation, Pastor Thank you so much. Very much comforted and gave me the boost to be patient in every situation like farmer, prophets and Job. I praise and pray God for you though you don't know me
I like the clarity of the text for the James 5:7-11 passage displayed on this video when Pastor Rick is teaching. Can someone, please, advise “the version of the Bible” this text/passage is taken from? Thanks
Pastor Rick, it has been nearly #3 years since Covid "began"....& I have NOT left my house. Litterally!![sp?]..I am needing your encouragement sermon "Faith handles DELAYS..." . Yes, there is a lot of teaching about being patient already.. It begins to feel that our patience has become the excuse for inaction and complacency. How about teach us how to hate evil as in Romans 12:9? Teach us how to recognize and fight our own political danger? Because Bible is full of political struggles and triumphs of God's people, Ester, Moses, Samson, Joseph just to name a few. Jesus came to fight for his dominion over Satan. Lot knew what was right and wrong, yet he didn't fight back, he even went back after Abraham rescued him. Lost everything and barely escaping fire. Teach us how to discern our own political deceptions and teach us how to fight back! Wake up Chrstians! Not just speak when it's lovely, but openly, honestly and FREELY!! Our world is burning and being taken over by evilness, wickedness and lawlessness, wake up.. Be like Ester, pray fight and win! Don't turn a blind eye to lawlessness anymore!
Pastor Rick I love people no matter their color stop bring race into discussion. Stop defining people according to color if you want please undertake sufficient research on the topic as you tend to down talk whites as if we have to feel guilty. I dont alot of injustice has been down to the first slaves ps the Irish community I do not see them lotting and destroying their communities. In a sense you are feeding the problem STOP this can not be godly we should unite and see wrong behaviour for what it is no matter color. I come from a country defining people on base of color and because I am white I have seen hate acts crimes that the media refused to cover just because its comes from the other perspective. I have met and formed many friendships across many races and after living in Africa for almost 40 years I know it's not color its culture beliefs and lack of integrity and grace to others that are the problem. STOP STOP talking on a topic you have little understanding of. All Ives matter we should promote it embrace it. Ps go and have a look at stats on violence against families where is the problem. Our time and effort can be spent on better things. Get over the race talk we are one in christ.
Thank you! That is exactly how I felt when I heard him start talking about that and I just turned him off and stopped listening and didn't listen to his talks for a couple of weeks. It is culture and not race that is the problem and the media is lying to us and dear Pastor Rick seems to be believing what the lying media is saying. I agree with your comment and pray for Pastor Rick.
Would you tell him to get over race if he brought up the Holocaust? If you feel bad about being “white”, that’s your problem. Sounds like you need to ask God for wisdom and clarity on that. “To worry about something you can’t change is dumb.” - R. Warren
Sandra Hesketh unfortunately, what you don’t see are the covert acts of racism that occur in the most unexpected places. I have been pained with being pulled over in my car in my own community with no cause. Each time, I feared moving too quickly to take my license out of my purse or appearing too nervous and that it will lead to harm. I have been followed around at stores by security because I don’t look like others in the store. I have had people question my education, profession, and success. They ask what kind of hand out I have received when it has been God, hard work, and determination that has propelled me. Do you have to think about what size purse to carry to an upscale store so people don’t think you are going to steal, or what kind of clothing to wear so you aren’t singled out? Have you ever had to talk to the school principal about a teacher who segregated your child from the other children because they feared the “dark” would rub off on them? Have you had to talk to your children about not being able to do what the other children do when they are being mischievous or “just kids”? Have you ever had the cops come to your door because a bike went missing in the neighborhood and you are the only black family, so naturally suspect? Yes, we need to continue to talk about race until people are aware of the subtle things that hurt me everyday, and stop it.
People cannot unfortunately talk about race without colour. You say that it's a cultural thing, lack of integrity and extending grace to others. I agree with you that a culture of hate has developed where one race feels more superior that the other and has refused to extend grace to the other race and discriminated against it in all ways. We cannot refuse to acknowledge that. We as Christians need to call it out and develop a culture of non discrimination, victim-hood and superiority over others on the basis of colour. Indeed I have seen some white people become so careful when expressing themselves so as to avoid saying anything that could be misconstrued as racism to the extent that whatever they wanted to say lost meaning. This is unfortunate because they did not choose to be born white. Black people have been discriminated against on the basis of colour which they can do nothing about. As Christians, let's endeavour to build a culture where we extend love and grace to others irrespective of the hue of our skins, differences in our tribes, genealogy etc.
