@@AngelicMistyStorm hold up pause that's if you wanted to go with violet Addison wanted Betsy but Sam didn't want her so don't blame everybody because they all did one of Betsy but it did husband's wise didn't want her but apparently Violet and Naomi took a stand I said you know what I'm probably going to take this kid cuz they'll was there for my kid so I'm going to be there for his
Aida Garyson if they really wanted her they would of adopted her without asking their boyfriend or husband instead of letting Betsy get beat up by some psycho kid in foster care...
@@AngelicMistyStorm What ticks me off the most is that later Addison adopted Henry and Cooper and Charlotte took in a kid they never met because he shares Cooper's DNA. It's like the lesson was that only babies and children that share your DNA deserve to be taken in but a perfectly sweet little seven-year-old girl can go into foster care and be somebody elses responsibility because she is not a baby and doesn't share your DNA. This was in the US in modern times--they would have allowed single women as rich as them to take her without a husband or boyfriend. Plus, Naomi went back with SAM later, the man who did not want Betsy and even discouraged Addison from taking her and had a baby with him. What a nice life for Betsy to have a stepfather who didn't want to adopt her when she needed someone so badly.
This show fucked up when they did the Betsey storyline when none of them took her. They didn’t need to adopt her outright-they could have fostered just to make sure she had a safe place until a proper family could be found for her. But no, they let that kid suffer further. Naomi got off lightest because she wasn’t in the country but it was great to see her adopt Betsey-she cared about Dell and for a while, they lived in the same house so it’s understandable that Betsey would be most comfortable with her.
I'm only around the beginning of Season 4 but I was so torn up about Betsey that I had to cheat and see what would happen to her. I also found out that one of my favorite characters is going to return. I'm happy I gave into temptation.
They deeply wanted to adopt Betsy but they cut it because their husbands or wise want to let them or there will probably get a divorce and Betsy probably don't want that no more because that's what happened to Dell and Heather
@@laurenhaspel I was SO disappointed in Addison. Turning away a sweet little girl who needed a home and then a season later bending over backwards adopting an infant. It became clear that she doesn't want just a CHILD, but a BABY with no baggage that will not remember anything but having her as a mother.
@@aidagaryson9795 yeah at the time she wanted a healthy relationship before a kid. I think she thought maybe Sam would eventually accept it but never did so she gave up trying to convince Sam to come around
I understand why none of the Private Practice doctors could adopt her before but her abandonment was very triggering for me. I was not in her exact situation but I was abandoned.
Every time I cry, Every damn time. Betsy just touches my heart every time I re-watch this.
Naomi the only one to take Dell's daughter. She was the only doctor in the practice the he deeply loved
Carole Harris nobody gave a damn about Betsy if they did Naomi would of adopted her in the beginning Betsy was just an obligation to them.

I'm still upset that Violet or charlotte and cooper didn't adopted Betsy:(

Addison had no real reason not to take Betsey. Although Sam didn’t want more kids she wanted kids her whole life. She should have adopted Betsey
