Thanks for shooting and uploading this! I love the Chameleons. This was their one Denver show that I didn't attend over the last few years (because I was under the weather that night). I'm also from Denver and have a concert video youtube channel in which I have some Chameleons videos that I shot too.
Mark's voice still awesome! Remember screaming 'How did I come to be drowning in this mess, a fucking mess!' on the mic at my buddy's wedding in Montreal in 1988. The marriage crowd went wild, madness ensued. Do not fall my dear friends, do not do it. Keep evolving!
Thank you for posting this TDS! Wonderful respectful crowd digging a great band still going on now. Memories of a wonderful time of my life in 1987 constantly listening to 'Strange Times' all over Europe. So great to see Mark and the band playing with passion. The very quintessence of punk rock/rock!
Great band - definitely want to see them in Florida in October. Enjoy all their music but truly love Script of the Bridge. Glad to see they played a few off that album
Thanks for listening! Not only were they a blast to record for but so much fun to work with. They might just be the nicest band I've had close contact with
@@TheDistressedSetlist That is so lovely to hear and read TDS. Great people creating great music and sending out their sonic beauty to all of us who were lucky enough to discover this underrated underappreciated band. Am just so grateful to you and the band for keeping on with majestic marvelous magnificent music.
Doors and Beatles etc... impro lyrics sang during 'Soul in Isolation' a nice touch by Burgess. "Lost in a rancid wilderness of pain, and all our leaders are insane...."
I swear I wished there was another venue than the one they always play when they're in Montreal, sound is shit. The first time they came back was awesome, they played at another venue, the sound was good, and they were very generous of their time, asking the crowd which tune they wanted to hear during the encore. I wished they still did that, I am dieing to see The Fan And the Bellows and Less Than Human live...
I swear I heard him after the set saying he wished they could have started the song over. Unfortunately, Denver has a strict noise curfew outside of downtown areas, and across the street from the venue they built some apartments that some "fucking gentrifiers" moved into, and now have an ongoing noise complaint against the venue, forcing bands to do shorter, quieter sets. Which in this case, because Chameleons don't play very loudly anyway, just reflected as them not being able to start the song over on their only mess up of the night 😢

What
One of the guitars on Up The Down Escalator was out of tune. Other than that amazing gig!
