- As @everyone works on progressing in Star Trek Fleet Command the need for latinum increases as you need to pay for speed ups, common ship parts, common materials, etc. If you're level 25 you need latinum and if you're level 55 you need even more. For me it was the D'Vor, the Franklin and the Discovery in terms of tear-up speed. Just meawful.
the sourcing for the dvor is relatively easy now with earn the dvor on the franklin disco vidar and amalgam its about 2 months and 2 weeks to source one ship from cosmic clean up and there are 4 ships in total so will take 10 months to get all of them or currency for them i think that needs an overhaul like instead of 100 of that currency we get to 200 that's not a big ask will cut the grind down by probably half and take of that dam cooldown i dont think its just me that feels this way

The D’Vor and Disco both BADLY need efficiency research. While the Franklin is bad, the research makes it more manageable.
Alternately, the green D’Vor skin needs to be more accessible so the D’Vor can be skipped

When I was playing the Fesha Glas skin was something I always suggested for event stores especially since it isn't even available in the store. This surprised me because they have packs to unlock packs but we couldn't get a descent latinum miner,
But yes D'Vor is the worst by far I have three at T7, T6, and T4.
Disco maxed, Franklin maxed twice, Franklin A maxed for ops 42
Fesha Maxed until Ops 51 and a T4.
Never got a D'Vor past T8 I actually did 2 T7 and a $50.00 pack to get the Fesha.
I have 10 away team missions running 24/7/365 with very few exceptions. Its free stuff with lots of officers you will never use. Just looked at my Treasury right before you showed yours and did the pull, was worth it for me...
I would say of all ships the Defiant is the longest to grind to max. I have maxed Discovery and Feesha/Dvor/Franklin far quicker than I have the Defiant, I still have two upgrades left at level 59 to max it.
I'm ops 58. Defiant and Titan have been the slowest to tier up. Both of those are a long way from max. Voyager was by far the quickest ship to max.
titan is slow but it is moving up pretty nicely ,also not that it needs level ups ,that defiant however is armada ship that utterly useless to have in one xd 55 here and one upgrade to push t11 on defiant
Always a good reminder to get that Lat lol. Some other sources that i regularly use i didn't see you cover are the low orbit flyover UC away mission and a couple of rare away missions, all with lat as the critical. The daily events recruit sms is another great way to get lat easy too.
Maxed all officers and 100% crit chance for lat mission. 30k a day is nice….sometimes more if I speedup missions.
for me its the discovery. its an absolute nightmare
@Rev Deuce For free to play the treasury is 16.8k in latinum or so. You have to spend money to get the big box you have.
Keep those extra generators at low levels, or don't build them at all. There are "Upgrade building" events that come up with each new building (Court of Q, The War Room, The Facade etc.). The way the scoring system works, you can upgrade these low level/unnecessary buildings really quickly to jack up really good points in such events. They do not give any power so they are absolutely meaningless for daily building events.
The worst specialty ship to upgrade was either the og franklin or the defiant. As a ops 56 player both are now useless too. I personally have maxed 4 dvors. I also have 2 maxed feeshas
Defiant super easy in the 2 runs I've done. Franklin I just OPC hunt in swarm space lol
If you have the Whip, mining con lat is like a 5 minute thing once a week. Also the whip helped greatly with completing the war chest (trading hits with opc con lat)
My biggest problem is Tritanium, Voyager is my main ship and I burn through millions everyday, I do events to get some but always end up nearly empty. So frustrating
Latinum and away team speed ups is what the game needs more ways of getting! Im around 200k lat its hardly enough to do a little power push. Lucky for me i have klingons as hostiles. So i leave 3 ships in 43,46,49 system and i get a few days worth of speed ups from that. In around 300-400 loot chest.
Just went to ops 52 a week ago and i had 20k latinum. Now i got about 500k just from Feesha, Voyager swaps, AT missions and dailies for upgrading buildings, doing research or upgrading ships with xp. And then you can use AT to do some missions that pay speed up boosters and you don't need to use the latinum for those dailies that give latinum.
FYI the discovery grind was easy for me. Its the stella and dvor that take forever
stella, dvor, and disco are the slowest. Im level 37, i maxed my dvor and stella but im still working on the disco
Discovery grind takes long but is quick and easy. On top if focused on maxing the ship first, you'll be still in the early 40's once it's finished. That's when it becomes lucrative, so all good.
Dvor grind is so annoying and slow, better just get your Feesha through eventstore and skip it entirely.
I would still build and tier it if ftp. Gives that extra lat. without building it and tiring you don’t get the refinery. I would love green skin in event store

I got my first D'vor to t8, scrapped it, and got the remaining Feesha bps from event stores. All others I've suffered through the grind for.
My worst was the original dvor followed by the original franklin. Discovery wasn't bad if you stayed focused on upgrading the ship instead going for the summoning research. The Feesha and franklin A can be sped up by discovery.
i make about 17k lat bars a day with my refineries but i also have the glass skin.. love it :)
I think the Bajoran favor Prophets’ Tribute also gives guaranteed latinum everyday for your 24 hr chest in addition to ultra recruit tokens. At least it does for me 😆
I still use some of the daliys for ultra recruit tokens more than the lat. A regular stream of those recruits makes it worth it.
And its a hard choice between the dvor and discovery
would be great if they made a kinda similar event to para bellum for lower players under ops39 and can scale it based on ops level i think that event pushes the gap between ops39 and below maybe its just me cause sourcing ship parts is very hard to come by
Find it ironic that use all the tips I use daily and run that away mission with same crew daily 😊
on the dvor starts off at a very low warp range later on you need the uber to move the dvor so need like a cadet scotty to help with that and a ghrush plus another protected cargo or cargo size officer and a huge grind to get up
I see you don't have a maxed Dvor. At Tier 9, the Dvor unlocks a Dvor Parts refinery. It makes upgrading the Dvor a lot easier. It should open at Tier 3 imo.
L34 here. I hammer the away team missions that give away team credits (e.g. Lead Expedition) and use them to buy Enterprise BPs. I'm pretty good on lat rn but I've done those too. easy money.

Why hasn't the daily SMS events been updated for materials awarded? I'm lvl 48 and it's still paying out 3*.
That was my question too.
It is a long grind. I Have ground to get Feesha free and now have 2nd D'vor almost ground to max and will scrap to get 2nd Feesha for free. Then back to grind to get 3rd D'vor leveled up.
@rev. u mentioning the treasury for lat ....but as ops49 f2p the treasury is paying out about 98k. And even 4 times a year will not make it better;)
Away teams has eliminated my borg probe grind and regularly feeds me latinum
wrost ship to upgrade Franklin... hands down. over 500h farming parts fron hostiles.

I have Form Trade Agreement at 97% crit chance, and the other days I had 3 fail back to back. Statistically I had a better chance of meeting elvis on the moon. I don't think the % chance in reality actually means anything.
So, was Elvis a nice guy?
the d'vor, by far the D'vor. As bad as the Disco is, I still have not actually maxxed a d'vor, just got feesha in a end of arc store.
What's the ratio of lat bars to concentrated lat vs. raw lat?
I keep wondering when they are going to scale the materials in the little daily research and building events. I'm level 45. Why are those still paying out in 3* materials I don't need? Do they never shift those to 4* materials?
I've left my feesha in augment space for almost a month (3weeks) only lvl 45
Wow how's your daily limited events paying so well? For me at 47 they havent changed since the 30s... Except for the officer recruit one
They improved them for 50+. So, the one you have is the same as the ones for previous levels.
Over 3000 one hour away team speed ups, how? All I get is the daily 12 plus a couple of 12 hr ones once a week through cosmic clean up if I'm lucky. I cannot remember the last time I got them through the battepass.
Does officer Tier/Level make a difference in the traits? I was under the A$$umption that tier/level has NO connection to traits...
D’vor, by far. I got two t8, and got one feesha form big event store. Todqy i have two feesha that i got for free, both are t9

I don't bother with the daily leaderboards. On my server they spend money to get on those, making them not worth the effort to try.

How is the Disco hard to max? I did that without even trying… loads of others that are much harder
how about the fastest way to max a rare officer for transporter patterns in augment im trying to get uncommon joaquin maxed then onto rare augment officer chests i dunno is thats the right way i think he is the most important uncommon to max in augment yes need about 5k independent credit to do that then you need that for ghrush 1k then 5k and get a very small amount in augment faction im on 400 credit for 25 independent credit since early on no other way to source them

You didn't show the 6hr daily SMS for building and research. Building/research has 1 8kish lat and 1 40kish lat SMS each @ops50+. The research one in particular is very easy

Level! the 50s dailies were redone with 5G came out. So in the 40s it doesn't feel very good but still useful info inf you're in the 20s/30s
I find the disco to be easy but the D’Vor to be the absolute worst ship to upgrade

Can we just talk about how much of a smack in the face the Ferengi Whip is? Folks really went out and spent $50-100 and now Ex-Borg makes it only useful for leaderboards. As a very light spender, I’m not complaining, but I’m sure others are.
Huh. I was thinking how exactly the opposite that is--how incredibly important it is. I don't see any value in it for mining speed, which is the only thing you are focusing on. It unlocks the ability to SPEND raw latinum to buy artifacts!! That's what I want.
This game is broken! Can't get update to install and game won't stay on to even move to another screen. I have android cell with update 12. So current why do they hate us f2p.

I think the disco is by FAR the worst. Voyager made it so I maxed out the feesha in 3 weeks. Event stores u can get a feesha for free…. Disco has none of that.
