Thank you so much for your generosity. All too often, I'm one of those (terrible) people who is reluctant to share my code because it took me so long to work out, so I really appreciate you being kind enough to share.
Fantastic Cherry. You should do other Matlab videos, if you have the time... So many out there are difficult to even comprehend what they are trying to say... Well done!
Thanks a lot! I need to prepare an animation for group velocity and phase velocity and using matlab for the first time, it seemed a daunting task. But after watching your tutorial , it seems easy!
Very useful. I have a question. How can I save this animation as a video file? Because I'm going to put this on my ppt. Thanks for your patience. Greetings form Peru :)
How can i make the figure follow the x value of the plot. What I mean is imagine a animated line sin(x). When x is going from 0 to 10pi for example it will follow the animation from 0 to 10pi with its center. How can I do this?
can u make a video about streaming data to matlab from excel in real time? I mean as the excel file gets updated matlab reads the new values and operates on them
Hi Sina, thanks for your question. I haven't done it before but it sounds like a fun project. How fast would you be adding values to this Excel file? Like in my video, the graph runs with an array you defined beforehand (fast or slow). Do you want the animation to restart every time the value changes?
@@chrryy I have a calorimeter that gets a new data point every second and adds it to the excel file I want Matlab to read that file check if there is a new data point and do the operations needed and update the resulting plot in real time
@@sinavalaei3403 That sounds fun! do you have an email address for me so we can talk about this in detail? Sounds like we could make a very fun project out of this
Dear Ma'am, I am a Ph.D. scholar in Physics at IISER Tirupati, India. I need your help regarding MatLab. Please do reply if you are in a position to help. Thanks in advance.
After exploring a lot videos, I got this and it helped me
Really to the point animation...thanks million times.
Thought the animation portion of my project was gonna take hours to figure out; finished it in minutes thanks to your vid :)
thank you! would love to see what you made :)
Holy, If only I saw your video before decided to google for 3 hours. Thank you so much!!!
thanks for this! such a huge help. this deserves more views.
Life saver!! Wracking my brain trying to figure out the animation for my CW, thanks to your vid, finished it just in time
Thanks Cherry Cheung for the video on plot animation. It is really very useful.
Really helpful and nice explanations........A BIG THANKS for making the VIDEO........
A fantastic explanation, thank you. 👏

Liked the result @14:13.
So incredibly useful! Thank you! Wish you had more MATLAB vids

Hello Victor, unfortunately I use the noobie way which is a screen capture. No idea on how to save it as a proper video. Hope this helps, good luck!
@@chrryy I think I'm going to do it in the same way. Thanks for your answer though.

Hi! This was super useful! Btw do you know how I could plot different graphs in separate figure windows simultaneously?
I can work on this, shouldn't be too hard.
Super useful greetings from mexico
very good explanation. Thank so much
