Serena has been tweaking her face for a minute. In her defense, though, she's been given the "Tiny" treatment, and people have talked bad about her natural looks. So she's probably gotten a little f*cked up in the head about it.

To me (and I could be wrong), it looks like fillers may have been done on the top half of her face, but also a procedure called buccal fat removal in the jaw area. Which may be why the chin is starting to look kind of pointier and more defined than before.
Serena has been thru a lot.. from people clowning her orginal skin tone to people likening her to a animal... to people accusing her of being a man.. etc.. i feel sorry for her.
So long as her man loves her. Some of those hating are single and bitter. 🙄

@mrs51315, Yes, I agree with you. When I first saw this new pic, I was thinking the same thing. Colorisism is a real issue, and can affect you well into adulthood. Some people in our community can be so cruel towards darker skinned women, but not towards the men. So many double standards!

As a dark skined black women with big lips and natural hair, I've been bullied since I was a child about my natural feathres. We cant keep blaming other people as to why certain people get procedures done (surgical or fillers or makeup contours). We have to learn to love ourselves and not put too much thought into how others view us. If the public's option is too much to handle then maybe being a public figure is not for you unfortunately. We have to be able to find peace within ourselves.

Years ago, I was looking at one of the shopping channels, and Serene was on there, promoting a black dress with a matching shawl. I was so excited! I wanted to support her business, so I ordered one!! I couldn’t wait to receive it. Let me tell you, when I opened that package, and saw and felt that material, I was bitterly disappointed!! I took it to work to show my co-workers! How can someone, who makes so much money sell something so cheaply made. Needless to say, I returned both of the pieces with the quickness. And I wrote exactly why I was returning them. I even wrote for them to show/tell Serene about her cheaply made clothing, and that she should be ashamed of herself, for allowing that to be attached to her name.

Serena has been altering her face for years, even before she got pregnant. She has had her lips and cheeks done. The cheek alterations may be what's causing her eye area to look so odd. We can love Serena and still acknowledge the obvious.

I'm old and been around and I have never heard one negative comment about Serena williams! Everybody reveres her and loves her. For years everybody marveled at how strong and beautiful

I think the problem with Serena is the fact that she doesn’t know her face and the way she applies make up. Sometimes it comes off a little too much like she doesn’t contour the proper areas I think that’s the issue, because in the video other than the new lips, it’s kind of like she just put a whole bunch of concealer on and went outside. It’s kind of like, she does make up in the bathroom where it looks amazing in yellow light but then the natural light it looks crazy plus when you’re using flash game over

I agree that Serena was bullied especially by the men. The only thing they ever praised that girl for was her BODY even more over her actual athletic gift. Men were not praising her for her face at all! I believe if she left the lip fillers and botox alone, her face would go back to normal. Her skin was always gorgeous so idk why lighting and lighter makeup is even an option for her. She is chocolate and looks damn good in it.

I recently watched a dr’s video on her changes. He included a clip where she said there were two things influencing the work she had done; 1) She was abused before (broken nose, black eyes, etc.), and 2) She was cheated on by men who always cheated with European women.
I truly wish dark skin black women, especially those who are in the spotlight embrace their god given features, skin tone, and natural hair like many black women used to do. The lightening of the skin, narrow nose jobs, long blonde hair and wigs doesn’t cut it for them. It looks clownish to me. This colorism issue should be a thing of the past, but it has gotten worse over a short period of time. I personally don’t like the way Serena looks, but being darker skin myself, I understand why she did it. Our own can be so cruel and shallow over nothing but vanity and the craving of having caucasian features. I can only imagine, God being disappointed because his children don’t like the way he naturally made them.

As a MUA in my professional opinion,Serena did pretty good with the car makeup. Those two small tubes that she was holding was actually the concealer which is why it was slightly lighter. The end result came out pretty good. However that interview in the beginning was way too light. The car makeup looked much better.
