In a rare turn of events for RoosterTeeth, the complete rebranding of the Let's Play channel has probably been one of the best decisions the company has made in quite some time.
Literally agreed. I've been watching them for YEARS (I'm 19 now) and it's been hard to ignore the rapid declining for awhile but I hope they continue this. This is what the fanbase wanted and missed

@@facroeyresetrebrand was needed, losing Michael is rough. I think the hard part was finding funny ppl that could relate to the og viewers, but instead they went after new viewers... when they maybe should have committed to long timers, I mean what kid is gonna watch grown men swear and talk about the stories they do... they won't be allowed to in this day and age. Looking back it was a fun 15 years I pop in every now and again, hoped for more, but it won't ever be 2013 again lol

The FF take over of LetsPlay has honestly brought me back. I love this
No forced streaming personalities shoehorned in, no bad attempts at improv comedy - Just some friends goofing around. That's what made LP and AH so good. This is such a return to form, it's no wonder the view count doubled since the swap.

Geoff was always the reason AH was successful because he just wanted to play games and be goofy with his mates and that's what we all want
Geoff and Gavin giggling and claiming that they're gonna shit themselves while playing a game really took me back. I'm so glad F**k Face has taken over

my favorite small moment: at 20:25 shows pictures of the Coliseum, the leaning tower of Pisa, famous Rome fountain, other places in Italy. Geoff: “I’m winning a trip to France?!”
The game shows each player whatever prizes they had selected before the game starts so most likely goeff's game had a trip to France set as default lol whoever's screen we were watching must have had Rome

I know Geoff said everyone's "Golden Age" of AH is different but I think the wheel of fortune era was one of my favorites. I remember being 16-18 and loving those videos. I haven't been tuned into AH in years but i think the F face gang taking over the let's play channel is bringing me back

The Geoff + Gavin dynamic, and a couple of good pals - that’s what was fun about the original RT Podcasts, that’s how Achievement Hunters originally popped-off, that’s the reason so many people are receptive to this return
Why did Gavin’s name change to JDoolz after the achievement pop at 1:10? Is the spirit of Jeremy too attached to Wheel of Fortune, or did Ubisoft just make a game this broken?

Being a fan of geoff for 12+ years, from roosterteeth to f*ckface... and im glad to see he's back and enjoying vidoes games again... and bleepface going from a podcast to visual gameplay is awesome to me.. 👍 10/10

I grew up with the OG minecraft lets plays, so seeing this channel collect so many new faces made me really not care anymore.

I mean it is one video a week, two if you count the FIRST only one on mondays.
These are the videos that are awesome. Not to rant and no hate on the new talent, but these new videos are classic LetsPlays. Geoff repeatedly says how talented and professional the new guys are (BK, Joe, etc.) and that compared to them in 2013, the new guys are so much better. That's something Geoff and AH never seemed to grasp the last few years: It was never about being professional and talented, it was about playing games together. It's all about meshing these funny personalities/friends together for entertaining videos.
Yeah. It's really annoying because I feel like I _would_ have really liked the new people if they had been extras or individual crew members back in the day. But as a team they just didn't have the chemistry required.
Sad thing is, the new people had potential but it was wasted.
I would argue the exact opposite, despite the fact that I like BK but I wouldn't say a single one of them are more professional or talented than the initial group. It's part of why the initial group had so much chemistry, they all had their own individual strengths and talents but they came together in a much more cohesive way. I assume a lot of which was because Geoff was captain of the ship and scouted those people

Aww, that was actually really sweet when Geoff said he didn’t like it when Gavin was Kingdom-side, because if something happens, Geoff can’t get to him. Especially considering that terrifying situation Gavin was in a few years ago with that stalker that broke into his house. Like, Geoff actually reason to worry about his buddy, and even though it was said jokingly, he meant that. Their friendship is so stupid and sweet!
When Gavin is typing Glamorous Shaggerrs at the start his name is JDoolz. Weird.

I hope you see this Geoff: These couple let's plays were a blast from the past. I missed Geoff and Gavin in lets plays. Geoff brings some much wholesomeness in let's plays. There needs to be more lets plays and more lets play series, such as, Minecraft. I appreciate you... for so many years and what you bring to all the let's plays.
