There is a way to make a flying machine without observers, it doesn’t work on Hypixel though

The golem wasn’t specifically disabled. I’m pretty sure all golems and wither are disabled, hypixel just checks for the blocks and summons a snow golem that attacks other players. The snow golem created by blocks attacks hostile only, so hypixel disables it and makes a new golem which attacks players
Yeah you have to use a command to make them pissed at players

The coolest idea I ever had in sky wars was where I took the cannonear kit and blew up my stand and towered above my island, boule a 2 by 1 in closed pace and covered that in lava. The broke the block at my eye level on all sides. Bc of the way lava works, it didn’t flow in, and when a guy tried to build up to kill me, I through a snowball through the lava at his name tag and knocked him into the void as there was no island beneath us. Yes, snowballs can go through lava. 10 / 10, try it yourself, and have a wonderful day!

btw there is a glitch where you can shift click a chest with spawn eggs in your hand to make the mob hostile, unless admins fixed it. (which I don't know why they wanted to if they did)

There was a time when you could enderpearl out of the skywars map onto the vanilla superflat wich would be almost an instant win, i think they disabled flying machines in order to hopefully counter the fix they did for that.

this type of flying machine relies on quasi connectivity, they probably view it as a bug (which is) and patched it
One of the reasons flying machines are disabled is because of a previous exploit where you could make "barrier blocks" by moving slime with pistons. Because of this, pistons can no longer move slime

I'm pretty sure flying machines are disabled as a side effect of hypixel trying to make certain lag machines impossible
It woulda been really cool if a player entered the portal, it transforms the lobby into a nether themed map and the players still alivr get tped to a random starting Island on that map

For the flying machine, have you tried activating the middle piston then deactivating it to make it work? I use that to use this design, and it works every time.
I used to use the princess kit and have a friend use armorsmith and would get infinity flame and sometimes put a power bow on it to get power, flame and infinity.
I main the jester kit in skywars, I'm usually pretty lucky and get a iron/gold/diamond sword. I use the once to kill someone and throw it away and use the sword I found in the chest instead.

That's the reason why I only play Skyblock. Lagpixel can't handle my quick thinking and movement because I don't live in the USA so... that happends -__-
Btw the reason they dont have portals enabled is cause you can lock them into the portal and they will be stuck and wont be able to get out, but idk why they have it open for bedwars tho :/

Fun fact: The nether is the only dimension that can be disabled in vanilla minecraft. Which is probably what they do on all of their servers.

btw the flying machine thing doesnt work because slime blocks are disabled not even the fall damage gets disabled when falling onto a slime block that and redstone doesnt work with slime blocks because of server lag (hope this helped u ig :D)

in Bed Wars, you can actually make and light a nether portal, except you cannot go through it. In skywars they should have at least made it be able to be lit.

there is a way to light the portal if you have watch skeppy video he used an fire ball and wool to light it maybe u can use leaves and flint and steal to do the same (it was on bedwars by the way) but in bedwars to didn't get to go through it :(
